"I’ve always loved sakura cafe’s food, especially their sushi rolls (the crunch and Alaska rolls are my favorite and their lo mein is amazing too)Today I tried their House classic poke bowl and added mango to it and it did not disappoint! They gave a generous amount of sushi (a lot of places don’t put that much in poke bowls) and perfect portions for everything else except I wish there was just a little more rice than salad on the bottom. I’ll definitely be getting this again when I need to get my poke bowl fix in!"

"I met a friend for dinner right after work. It was close to work and on the way home. When I walked in, I told the hostess I had reservations. She was totally confused and she said 'no one told me... '. I informed her that I made it under Open Table and she was still totally confused. She sat me at a booth. When my friend got there, the waitress came by to take our drink orders and asked if we wanted an appetizer from the special happy hour menu. We weren 't given a happy hour menu by the hostess. The happy hour menu was limited. We ordered a few things to share and then a few rolls. The apps were just ok. The sushi rolls were the same. Just OK. I wouldn 't go out of my way to come here, but I would come back if I was in the area and was wanting sushi. The place wasn 't very busy, but the noise level was extremely loud. They started playing piano music over the system and it was at a level where we couldn 't even hold conversation without yelling at each other."

"Ordnete Tempura dish for 19.95. What I got was a large bowl of dried rice with a few pieces of hard, fried vegetables and a small shrimp that obviously sat under a heat lamp. I couldn't finish it because it was just inconspicuous and chew. I politely asked the server who I could say was a young person, maybe a high student when that was normal. I saw how the server went to manager/owner/pick and asked them. The manager/owner/images, who sorted silverware, did not even look at the server and without a word the index finger, indicating that only 1 piece of shrimp were normal. It was quite unprofessional and even I felt bad for our server. Apart from the poor quality of food, high prices, this simple and short interaction I experienced, talked a lot about this place. You lost a customer in me."

"Decided to switch up our sushi routines and tried Hokkaido Sushi Teppan. They have great happy hour appetizer and sushi specials including one of my favorites, takoyaki, which was cooked to perfection with a creamy inside, super tender octopusbites inside, and a generous portion of bonito flakes on top (only thing it was missing was the Mayo on top). I tried thehibachi (they have the tables for the show but they serve it sans-show on the regular table side) and the steak was cookedperfectly medium rare, the scallops still tender, and about $5 cheaper than Kobe (though Kobe’s soup, ginger dressing, noodsand white sauce are still king). The sushi was also excellent with generous amounts of quality tuna in the tuna roll, greatconsistency and flavor on the rice, crisp tempura shrimp, and well constructed rolls. Excellent service, clean dining area andbathrooms. Only thing is it’s a bit small, I think 4-5 hibachi tables for 8 and the regular seating was about 10 tables,probably could seat 30? But they were doing a big takeout business too so you can get it to go as well."

"I am very grateful to have found this hidden treasure! Even though I have not been able to dine in at the restaurant yet (because of the pandemic), I order takeout from here at least twice a week. The staff and owners are always friendly and pleasant. The food is consistently delicious and my order has never been wrong. I am eagerly looking forward to the restaurant reopening so I can finally try the dim sum! Thank you House of Chang!"

"I've recently relocated to Lancaster and have tried several sushi places in the area, but I wasn't impressed. Tonight, I visited SushiOne and was immediately welcomed by the friendliest woman. I ordered four different rolls along with some edamame, and the total came to around $45, which I think is reasonable. Every roll I tried was perfectly crafted, with the Bruce's roll and Baltimore roll standing out as my favorites. My family and I had a wonderful experience, and it's safe to say we've found our go-to sushi spot! I can't wait to dine in next time!"

"We went for a coworker's birthday at 11:30am lunch. It was not very crowded at all. Parking was a little difficult to find since its a small parking lot. We were seated quickly and ordered our drinks and ordered off the menu. Staff was attentive enough. Iwouldn't term it friendly. Lunch combo comes with clear soup, salad (very small), vegetables, fried rice and your choice ofprotein. My lunch of steak and shrimp with a $3 green tea came to $29. Our group's concerns were about the leftover dried riceand food still left on the hibachi grill as we waited for the chef to arrive. We wondered why it hadn't been cleaned from thenight before. The chef arrived about 20 minutes after seating and confirmed our individual orders. Best part of lunch was theflame burst as chef used oil to torch the hibachi. The rice was very good. Several of my coworkers ordered steak and shrimpcombo along with me. I ordered steak medium. Chef served my steak well with everyone else's choice. It wasn't dry but not mypreference. It's been a while since I visited a hibachi restuarant, but I remember more fanfare with cooking the meal in frontof the customers and general chatting with the seated guest from the chef. The restuarant allows for separate checks, willcharge a small differential for paying with cash versus credit card. Overall it was a good meal. No one tried the sushi. Maybeon another visit if we give it another try."

"The dining experience was excellent. The prices range from $30 to $50 per person, which is reasonable for the quality of food. I would give the food a perfect rating of 5, as everything we tried was delicious. The service was quite good as well, with a rating of 4, although there was a bit of a wait at times. The atmosphere also deserves a rating of 4; it was inviting and pleasant. I highly recommend trying the Volcano Roll and the Mandalay Roll—both were standout dishes!"

"Love the mizu in boardman, I ordered from this one for the first time and it will be my last. I ordered lunch hibachi and 3 roll lunch sushi, my husband went to pick the order up and called me saying they didn’t have it when I had the order confirmation on my phone, then he gets all the home just to realize they gave us the wrong order, my sushi rolls were all wrong the hibachi had about 10 pieces of steak and chicken together, I filed a complaint through DoorDash and mizu themselves emailed me stating they weren’t issuing me a refund even though my order was completely wrong. A complete waste of 30$. I will definitely keep my business at the boardman location."

"Top quality sushi. The best sushi restaurant in Dallas. I've been to a lot of so-called popular sushi places in Dallas and this place exceeds them all. The fish was fresh, the variety of signature rolls was impressive, and the flavors were amazing. I also was impressed by their thick slices of fish compared to the thinly sliced fish at other places. They also don't roll too much rice around their sushi. We got the Alex roll, the Rock Roll, the Double S Roll, and the Timmy roll. Good stuff! Highly recommend. Four rolls and a drink was $51.68."

This hidden gem has the best prices in lancaster , great customer service (they know who I am by my repeated custom roll request) and consistently great, beautifully presented sushi. (Although Ive never had anything but perfection here) Every place has an "off day" once in awhile ...and youll be losing our on your new favorite sushi restaurant if you take that as standard for this place. "Update It's been some time since we visited Sushi One. I'm not sure what happened but we noticed that all the regular sushi chefs were no longer there, and we noticed a significant difference in the quality of the food. We ordered the Rangoons as an appetizer and they came out dripping grease. Kinda gross. The rest of the rolls and sashimi were also not up the usual standards we expect from this place. The service was still good. I originally rated them at 5 stars, but unfortunately I have to drop my rating because of the this. I hope they are able to improve the quality of their food, because we really enjoyed this place. Fingers crossed.OMG some of the best sushi I’ve had in years. It’s a small place with limited seating but a great atmosphere with some outdoor seating. We sat at the bar and spoke with the sushi chefs. Great bunch of guys. Troy was the chef that did most of our platter. They have a very unique menu. It was sooo good. This is our new go to sushi restaurant. Love it."

"Visited Sakura for the first time for my birthday with my partner. The restaurant has multiple hibachi grills and separate seating areas. The service was extraordinary, as was the food and drinks. We ordered cocktails and the sushi for two. The portion size for the meal was much more than we expected and was incredibly delicious. Parking is behind the restaurant with signage showing the way. Disability parking is in front of the building, but limited. I'll definitely be returning and trying the hibachi grills and highly recommend anyone interested in hibachi and sushi to visit."

"I went here with my boyfriend for the first time tonight. He had been several times and I'm a very picky eater when it comes to Asian cuisine. I don't like drowning in sauce, or stripping away from the original dishes of the Orient. This place was FANTASTIC! I had the Chicken Lo Mien and it was just wonderful! Plenty on the plate, plenty of veggies and chicken. Delicious sauce even with a kick of pepper which is original. Plus the atmosphere is like stepping into well, a paradise. We were seated in a very comfy booth next to a beautiful wall mural of the ocean. Wonderful place and we will definitely be returning soon! Did I mention that we both got entrees, drinks, his entree with shrimp..and it was 30 bucks even with the tip! Can't beat those prices either : Well done Pacific Paradise Tropical Grill and Sushi Bar!"

"We've been driving from this restaurant for years and always said we should really stop it and try as we love Asian food, especially sushi. Saturday we stopped for an early dinner and I'm super mad at me now because I didn't eat here earlier! Everything was AMAZING! At first our waitress was incredibly attentive and polite to always stop to make sure we don't talk before we approach ourselves instead of interrupting us. Then the food. We had the Fiery Wontons as an appetizer and were immediately blown away, how delicious they were. We then ordered the samurai special, which was chicken, vegetables and peanuts in a garlic chilli sauce... it was so delicious (we saved most of it to bring home, and even the next day it was fantastic). We finished with yellowtail sushi and 4 maki reels, all super fresh, expertly rolled and very tasty. I want to go back! A new favorite sure!"

"This place does not deserve one star AT ALL! Five million stars! The staff was so friendly and willing to tell us everything in each dish we asked about. We went on a Sunday afternoon so it wasn't busy. We all also ordered from their authentic menu, which they do not give out unless you ask for it. It's also a big list and I imagine the best food comes from this menu. My brother got the potato chicken, my sister got the chicken curry rice, and I got the 3 chicken bowl. My brothers and mine has sliced ginger in it which made our dishes taste very fresh and wonderful! My sister's had the deep fried chicken and the curry was very tasty. We also ordered the sake which...is sake so if you like that I'm sure it's the same everywhere, and the Asian Mist drink was very tasty. We also ordered the...I forget the appetizer name- it's fried with cream cheese. It's very popular at Chinese restaurants, and I'm not one for cream cheese, but this one was the best one I've ever had. I ordered the firecracker roll appetizer. I thought it was a sushi roll but it was actually more like an egg roll, and IT WAS AWESOME! Served with sweet chili sauce on the side. It was delicious! Definitely come here! Also they said they have $1 sake on Mondays."

"The restaurant features a charming and spotless atmosphere. The sushi is truly exceptional—I would easily give it a five-star rating. This was my second visit, and both times have been fantastic. On my first trip, I enjoyed fresh sushi at the sushi bar, and their volcano sushi was particularly impressive. I also loved the steakhouse section where they serve traditional Japanese steak. Today, I chose the bento box lunch special in the main dining area, which offers great value for money. Overall, I would rate this place five stars!"
