"I’ve always loved sakura cafe’s food, especially their sushi rolls (the crunch and Alaska rolls are my favorite and their lo mein is amazing too)Today I tried their House classic poke bowl and added mango to it and it did not disappoint! They gave a generous amount of sushi (a lot of places don’t put that much in poke bowls) and perfect portions for everything else except I wish there was just a little more rice than salad on the bottom. I’ll definitely be getting this again when I need to get my poke bowl fix in!"

"I met a friend for dinner right after work. It was close to work and on the way home. When I walked in, I told the hostess I had reservations. She was totally confused and she said 'no one told me... '. I informed her that I made it under Open Table and she was still totally confused. She sat me at a booth. When my friend got there, the waitress came by to take our drink orders and asked if we wanted an appetizer from the special happy hour menu. We weren 't given a happy hour menu by the hostess. The happy hour menu was limited. We ordered a few things to share and then a few rolls. The apps were just ok. The sushi rolls were the same. Just OK. I wouldn 't go out of my way to come here, but I would come back if I was in the area and was wanting sushi. The place wasn 't very busy, but the noise level was extremely loud. They started playing piano music over the system and it was at a level where we couldn 't even hold conversation without yelling at each other."

"Ordnete Tempura dish for 19.95. What I got was a large bowl of dried rice with a few pieces of hard, fried vegetables and a small shrimp that obviously sat under a heat lamp. I couldn't finish it because it was just inconspicuous and chew. I politely asked the server who I could say was a young person, maybe a high student when that was normal. I saw how the server went to manager/owner/pick and asked them. The manager/owner/images, who sorted silverware, did not even look at the server and without a word the index finger, indicating that only 1 piece of shrimp were normal. It was quite unprofessional and even I felt bad for our server. Apart from the poor quality of food, high prices, this simple and short interaction I experienced, talked a lot about this place. You lost a customer in me."

"Decided to switch up our sushi routines and tried Hokkaido Sushi Teppan. They have great happy hour appetizer and sushi specials including one of my favorites, takoyaki, which was cooked to perfection with a creamy inside, super tender octopusbites inside, and a generous portion of bonito flakes on top (only thing it was missing was the Mayo on top). I tried thehibachi (they have the tables for the show but they serve it sans-show on the regular table side) and the steak was cookedperfectly medium rare, the scallops still tender, and about $5 cheaper than Kobe (though Kobe’s soup, ginger dressing, noodsand white sauce are still king). The sushi was also excellent with generous amounts of quality tuna in the tuna roll, greatconsistency and flavor on the rice, crisp tempura shrimp, and well constructed rolls. Excellent service, clean dining area andbathrooms. Only thing is it’s a bit small, I think 4-5 hibachi tables for 8 and the regular seating was about 10 tables, probably could seat 30? But they were doing a big takeout business too so you can get it to go as well."

"I had a fantastic dining experience! The food quality is outstanding, and my orders are fulfilled with impressive efficiency—about 98% of the time. If you're looking for a vegan option, I highly recommend the General Gao Tofu; it’s truly my favorite dish here. I've become a regular, and the staff recognize me! What I appreciate about this restaurant, unlike many Chinese places, is that they allow special requests, such as cooking fried rice without egg or accommodating other dietary preferences. The food is consistently fresh and served hot. The broccoli in my dish is always crisp and fresh, and I love that they don’t drown it in sauce, keeping it nicely vibrant alongside the rest of my meal. I've been shopping here for months, and the quality hasn’t wavered. The staff is friendly both on the phone and in person. However, I recommend ordering directly from the restaurant rather than using UberEats—it’s a great way to support the business."

"Sushi One is 1 of 2 favorite Asian restaurants that my son and I love in Lancaster. They have consistently good food and service, and my son loves all of the attention poured onto him from the waitress. My son is a huge sashimi eater, and they have a very good variety of fish, roe, and cephalopods. They also have unique appetizers that my son devours like BBQ squid and baby octopus. I'm not a seafood person, and I'm always trying something different here from curry to katsu to hibachi, and everything has been good! Prices are very reasonable, and the interior is very calming compared to many other places in the area. Whether we do take out, delivery, or in dining, we love Sushi One!"

"Absolutely do not recommend. This was the worst hibachi place I have ever tried. The soup (that every hibachi place has) was awful. It had a noodle or two in it which was fine except, the soup tasted as if they scooped the water they used to boil the noodles into a bowl to serve us. It tasted like boiled noodle water. The rest of our hibachi table (all strangers to us) agreed it tasted so awful. The ginger salad (that every hibachi place has) was on that level as well. It had a weird smell and dressing to lettuce ratio was as if they couldn't afford to put more than a tablespoon in it. The dressing itself was just horrid. I watched them cook our food. We both ordered steak and shrimp fried rice. I don't like the vegetables so I always order double fried rice and no veggies. Well, we had to ask permission to do that. Which doesn't surprise me considering their menu literally says there's an up charge if you share plates. WHAT. Okay. Apparently, this place can dictate what you do. I feel sorry for those who have small children and going here. The steak and shrimp was awful. Steak tasted horrible. He poured some type of power over it while it was cooking. Not sure what it was but it was gross. The meat was so tough and chewy. The shrimp was old. The rice was weird as well. It just had some weird smells with it. To make matters worse, the place is quite pricey. It was double the price of any place back home to no quality. The service was rough. The chef ignored you the entire time. The server was no where to be found. Absolutely not. DO NOT RECOMMEND."

"I give the food 5 stars FOR SURE! This is our favorite sushi place and it never disappoints. The only negative would be the lack of staff, which I can understand because of Covid-19, so I am not going to mark them down for something they can?t control! So if you?re going during the evening or weekend just be prepared to probably wait, but it is well worth the wait!!! Friendly staff, very clean, amazing food, and good environment!"

"I had an incredible dining experience at this sushi place! The food was fresh and absolutely delicious, with the fish tasting as if it was just caught. The service was excellent attentive and friendly, making sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The highlight of the evening, though, was the mango panna cotta. It was the perfect way to end a delightful dinner—refreshing, smooth, and bursting with flavor. I cannot wait to return! Highly recommended!"

"This is the second time I ordered take out and they forgot to give me part of my order. They will not refund your card and just say to ask for the item whenever you dine in. When you ask for a refund instead, they tell you they don’t know how to do it. That is not right. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner"

"Top quality sushi. The best sushi restaurant in Dallas. I've been to a lot of so-called popular sushi places in Dallas and this place exceeds them all. The fish was fresh, the variety of signature rolls was impressive, and the flavors were amazing. I also was impressed by their thick slices of fish compared to the thinly sliced fish at other places. They also don't roll too much rice around their sushi. We got the Alex roll, the Rock Roll, the Double S Roll, and the Timmy roll. Good stuff! Highly recommend. Four rolls and a drink was $51.68."

"Always and forever my FAVORITE SUSHI PLACE IN LANCASTER! This hidden gem has the best prices in lancaster , great customer service (they know who I am by my repeated custom roll request) and consistently great, beautifully presented sushi. If you happen to have an off day dont dismiss them. (Although Ive never had anything but perfection here) Every place has an "off day" once in awhile ...and youll be losing our on your new favorite sushi restaurant if you take that as standard for this place. Personally , they have ALWAYS been great for me! And Ive been a fan now for several YEARS! I can go no where else for my sushi fix. Even when I try others I always come back to Ginmya ! This is MY SUSHI PLACE!!!!"

"We loved the atmosphere! Sunny, clean and happy staff! Had 6 different types of rolls and a banana ice cream dessert. Everything was presented well and very tasty. Our server was Ryan and he was very attentive and aware of our needs. Thank you very much for the great lunch! We will be back!!!"

"Visited Sakura for the first time for my birthday with my partner. The restaurant has multiple hibachi grills and separate seating areas. The service was extraordinary, as was the food and drinks. We ordered cocktails and the sushi for two. The portion size for the meal was much more than we expected and was incredibly delicious. Parking is behind the restaurant with signage showing the way. Disability parking is in front of the building, but limited. I'll definitely be returning and trying the hibachi grills and highly recommend anyone interested in hibachi and sushi to visit."

"My family used to frequent this place for years. I moved out of town and hadn’t been in for a few years. WOW how times have changed. Went for dinner with my family. Services started out okay. Not overly impressive but fine. Ordered fried tofu plate. The server (Rachel was her name) brought me an eggplant plate. Told her I didn’t order eggplant (I actually can’t eat eggplant). Server told me I did order egg plant. Told her again I didn’t order eggplant I ordered tofu. She continued to aggressively argue with me stating she knows I said eggplant because she had told me, “good choice” when I ordered and she loves eggplant and hates tofu. Others at my table told her they heard me order tofu as well. She continued to aggressively argue with all of us and then said we were “difficult from the beginning” and was actually physically getting in my personal space. The servers behavior was the most unprofessional I have ever encountered and was completely out of line. Management did minimal. Was nice and polite. Took my meal off the ticket. Which I told them I would not be eating and did not eat. Paid for everything else. Not about money, just facts. For reference, first time ever that I tipped zero in my adult life. Horrible experience. Worst service in town. Completely disgusting behavior. Will not be returning and will never recommend to anyone again."

"We've been driving from this restaurant for years and always said we should really stop it and try as we love Asian food, especially sushi. Saturday we stopped for an early dinner and I'm super mad at me now because I didn't eat here earlier! Everything was AMAZING! At first our waitress was incredibly attentive and polite to always stop to make sure we don't talk before we approach ourselves instead of interrupting us. Then the food. We had the Fiery Wontons as an appetizer and were immediately blown away, how delicious they were. We then ordered the samurai special, which was chicken, vegetables and peanuts in a garlic chilli sauce... it was so delicious (we saved most of it to bring home, and even the next day it was fantastic). We finished with yellowtail sushi and 4 maki reels, all super fresh, expertly rolled and very tasty. I want to go back! A new favorite sure!"

"I woke up the next morning thinking about the meal I had the night before. First off let me say the the atmosphere was casual and inviting. The entrance was clean. We were seated in a booth next to the bar. Our server David was helpful and attentive. Iforgot to take pictures of our meal but the food was awesome! For appetizers we ordered we ordered the vegetable spring rollsand the fried avocado. The spring rolls were average. But the fried avocado was divine! All of the ingredients blended togetherwonderfully. We orders a soup that had shrimp, calamari, imitation crab, etc. I could have drank the stock from that soup andbeen happy. It was savory. We also had Singapore noodles with shrimp. It was wonderful as well. Also on Tuesdays Saki is $1.Nice! Over all it was a wonderful experience that I want to experience again. I will definitely be a repeat customer."

"Out of the five years I lived off Western Center exit, I never gave MK?s Sushi a try. Yes, I passed it quite a few times but it is tucked behind Racetrac and Smoothie King in the strip mall so I never made the stop. Tonight we decided to double date with our neighbor as a family night! Their kiddos have never eaten sushi rolls, so why not? Parking is a bit limited, thankfully some vehicles had just pulled out so we had some spaces. Once we entered, we were seated immediately. My husband rated this a 3.5, mostly for the great service; however, he said his sesame chicken wasn?t the best. He said it wasn?t hot nor cold, and the flavor wasn?t there for him. He still prefers Wabi Sabi across the street. That being said he didn?t try ANY of the sushi which is the reason I rated much higher. I ordered the crunch roll, Heart Attack, and a California roll for my daughter and I to share. All of which were AMAZING, I stuffed myself which is bad I know. But I didn?t want to stop eating! My daughter was obsessed with the California roll and we ended up ordering a plate to-go. The sushi line took the longest to receive, but everything else we ordered arrived quickly. Here is my advice: if you are looking for sushi, this is your place! If you?re looking for orange chicken or sesame chicken, go to Wabi across the street or even Panda Express down Beach Street(if you?re looking for cheap . I saw BULGOGI on the menu, I would be interested if it tasted good here. Perhaps try that and write a review so I can read it : Great service and great sushi, end of story!"
