"I had no issues with the food, service, or atmosphere at the restaurant. My main concern lies with the menu, which seems to be a consistent problem at all Sonic locations. It was Friday night, and I was in the mood for an ice cream cone. Unfortunately, they didn't have it on the menu. The only option available was a sundae, which wasn't what I wanted on a Friday. They offered ice cream cones just last month! Honestly, it feels like they change the menu as frequently as a baby gets a diaper change. I opted for takeout service."

"My wife and I love to have a Blast (her Reese peanut butter cup and I Snicker). First time we got our treat and left. We arrived at the park to consume our ice cream. My wife had a butterfinger blast and I had a cup of ice cream with a very small amount of snickers on top. Disappointed but thankful we had something sweet.Next time we wanted our favorite treat, we stoped at this sonic restaurant to order, received our treat and headed home. I dug into my blast and it was something that looked like snickers but tasted like a mixture of many different candies and my wife’s blast was a mixture of caramel and butterfinger candy. Today, we stopped to get our favorite dessert and to my disappointment my blast was a caramel sauce with something else and a small amount of snickers. I’m not one to complain much, but this is the last straw. How hard is it to read a screen and put these ingredients into the order? That is their only purpose! I won’t be back. I will go to Early from now on."

"The whole point of a drive-in is for a faster checkout. This is supposed to be a fast food joint. Well, it started ok enough. You drive into a spot, push the button, and order, and you pay right there on the spot too (for cards). Sounds convenient right? Well until you ended up waiting for an hour! They said they didn't get our order but my card was charged already. We could've just ordered at McDonalds or any other place really, and be in and out. So this was our first time trying Sonic, and this will be the last. Oh, and they ask for a tip too at the checkout process. I didn't put any and preferred to pay cash to the server. Maybe that was why? All the other fast food places don't ask you for a tip at the checkout! Needless to say, we won't be coming back! Oh and the food is not that good anyway."

"I gave Sonic a 5 star rating but THIS visit should have only been 3 1/2 stars. Got the chili cheese coney hot dog and somehow it just didn 't have the same flavor 'pop ' it normally does. "I worked here back in the mid-2000s, during my senior year. I actually really loved the place, although I'm sure that the staff is completely different now. Always liked the location though in the middle of that sweeping curve. Anyway, I've been there a few times in the intervening years and the service has always been perfectly acceptable, and the food is just as greasy and amazing as any other Sonic Drive-In. Good times. Vegetarian options: They have solid, and certain locations have veggie burgers. That's about it."

"I think a lot of people would give umbrage to giving Sonic 5 stars, but man...being right next to my hotel with fast food to whet my late night cravings just influences my opinion. I ended up getting hot dogs, corn nuggets, burgers, fries, tater tots, and smoothies during my trip here and they all definitely hit the spot. I was able to just walk over and order from the little outdoor kiosk. Employees were friendly and the food came out relatively quickly. Is it fine dining? Of course not. But all in all I couldn't really ding them for anything. If i stay at one of the nearby hotels again, I know where I'll be when it gets late...lol"

"The staff was highly attentive. Truthfully, all I ordered was the corn dogs, which made me feel like I was at a fair rather than a restaurant. They were fresh and delicious. I didn't even have to ask for mustard because they provided it automatically. I would recommend giving this place a try."

"I came here to pick up a command for the door lock, and it said to go through the drive. I didn't know I was gonna wait 15 minutes and then if I tried to call, no answer. I understand it's busy and that it's going to keep a lot, but at least pick up the phone so I don't wait here to waste my time. stop acting like chipotle and just answer the phone for a 25-sec call. "I asked for a number 2 with Mayo no tomatoes no onions, tots and a Coke. Can I please have some ketchup. Got my food, tipped 2 dollars and left, got where I was going I was starving and ready for my burger, I opened the bag and no napkins, I said don't worry about it, let's eat. Opened the burger, lifted the top bun TOMATOES even when you take the TOMATOES off the juice and the seeds remain, it's OK I still have my tots, reached in the bag only to find 1 pack of ketchup, I eat 3 tots and no more ketchup I grabbed my drink to wash down 3 tots lunch and it was diet coke. Being able to read should be a requirement at Sonic in Bogalusa."

"The Car Hopper who brought my order was a petite young woman with blue eyes, wearing a trucker hat and tube socks. I apologized for parking so close to the menu board, and she was very gracious about it. A medium Ocean Water cost $1.35, which is quite reasonable. However, I found it a bit disappointing; it tasted like a watered-down Sprite with only a hint of blue coconut flavor. Maybe next time I’ll try something else that's more flavorful. "I have stopped at this place many paintings throughout the year and every time I have it, it seems to be getting bad. eating was always decent, but it didn't seem so good to taste. the personal seems to be small when the waiting times last very long, although only a few cars order and wait. the iconic car ride in the areas seemed to be broken more and more until the restaurant is almost completely only traversed. would be happy to repair this place and get more personal so that the workers are not overworked."

"Ordered on app. No food after 20 minutes. Was instructed through app to use Call Button. Pushed call button. Waited 10 minutes more and nothing. Finally I stopped a car hop, told her I what had happened (or not happened) and told her after 30 minutes, no food that I needed to leave. Asked her to cancel my order if it had even been received. She said Ok my debit card was billed $7.82 for nothing. Unimpressed. No faith in Sonic App or this specific Sonic. To many other choices. I'll bot with my wallet."

"Originally i.gave this place a 5 star review. Their service is fast and the food is hot. I go here about twice a week. However lately something is always wrong. Missing food mostly. Today took the cake though I was trying to place an order and the lady kept cutting me off and I kept trying to tell her what she was putting in for me wasn't what I wanted. "Waited over 20 minutes after ordering with no one in line. I recommed always checking your bag to make sure you get what you paid for. Drive through shorted us a super sonic cheeseburger. Good thing we opened the bag while at the window. I had to knock on the glass to get her attention. When she finally answered, and stopped texting, she said she would have to check. I showed her the receipt for 2 burgers and only received 1. Had to wait almost 10 more minutes to get the rest of our order. The guy behind me was getting mad but what can you do. We are dependant on the employees working there to get it right. The least they could do is apologize. She just handed me the bag and closed the window. I know that one review will not make a difference, but at least I didn't have to drive back from home. It frustrates me with the increased cost of food, it does not necessarily increase the level of service you are provided. "Order 1 blast and 1 cone. Car pulled in next to us and tried to order 3 times before the person on the intercom got it right. More waiting. Next thing, car next to us gets their order. We wait some more. Finally we pushed the button to see what the hold up is with our cone and blast. Oh.... it's ready and will be right out. Except we had to wait some more. Finally it came and we asked for napkins. Evidently those don't come with orders now. Had to go back to get some. Our food should have been free after all that. Our expectations are low these days in view of the struggle most are having but I'm afraid we will have to give up on Sonic for awhile. This isn't the first time we were disappointed with our service. Just the last straw."
