"We have been going to Blowfish since it opened in the and their update within the past month or two has completely gutted the special place we've known and loved all these years. They have made the decor more general, boring, and almost corporate (no more anime?! plywood cutout walls but the worst is that they have significantly downgraded the quality of the food, and kept the prices high. The three mushroom appetizer was just soggy grocery store brown buttons and portobellos. Everything from the green tea to the salad dressing felt like a solid, uninspired neighborhood sushi spot. I'm sure it will be fine for people who weren't regulars before, but it felt like such a shame, and we won't be going back."
