"The Pink Pepper in Mesa, once one of our favorite lunch spots, has recently undergone renovations. They offer a combination of menu items and a variety of Americanized Thai dishes on their buffet. However, we noticed a decline in food quality last year, with more gristle in the chicken and less pork and beef available on the buffet line. Our most recent visit was disappointing, lacking the vibrant flavors we typically associate with Thai cuisine. When we inquired with the owner about any changes in the kitchen, he insisted that everything was the same, but it didn’t feel that way to us, which is unfortunate. We’re certainly willing to give the Pink Pepper another chance in the future, but after this visit, we left feeling somewhat dissatisfied."
