Business felt review was unfair as they were trying out new ideas from YouTube. Changed to 5 stars as per their request to support local business. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Had a disappointing experience tonight. Ordered a chirashi don through Uber Eats and usually received sashimi style slices of fish on rice. Instead, I received chopped fish with scrambled eggs. When I called, they explained it was part of a transition to AZN. Disappointed with the lack of assistance offered. Will not be ordering from them again as I can get better quality poke bowls for a lower price elsewhere. It's unfortunate to lose another option for decent quality sushi in the area."

"Wow! Amazing! Delicious! There are so many words I want to use to describe our experience! The food was outstanding, and the portions were generous! The staff was polite, attentive, and friendly! The restaurant itself was clean and had a unique ambiance! Plus, the bill was very reasonable. This is an excellent spot for anyone looking to enjoy Japanese and Chinese cuisine or just to find a new favorite comfort food! We indulged in so much and spent so little, and the quality was exceptional! We will definitely be back. (I just hope they open a location closer to us in the meantime!)"

"I ordered the lunch special chicken Mongolian with rice. The portion size was generous and the food was freshly made. The rice was cooked perfectly, but the chicken Mongolian was a bit watery. I would suggest they improve the quality of the preparation, as everything else was great. They don't need to add more ingredients or increase the quantity, just a little more attention to detail in the preparation process would be beneficial. I would still recommend this restaurant."

"Ordered delivery today and something has happened to this restaurant 's food and it 's not in a good way. I ordered House Fried Rice which was dry, flavorless and only had a couple of shrimp. I also ordered Pork with Mixed Vegs most of the pork was sochewy fatty, I spit most pieces into my napkin. The broccoli tasted like I don 't know what and the mushrooms were soft and waytoo earthy and I adore mushrooms. Maybe there 's a new owner or cook? I 've given them more chances than I should have. Saveyour money or try Thai or Japanese food. Seems they have better quality control and actually put effort into their food."

"Absolutely delicious! I had the Orange Chicken, General Tso's Chicken, and Chicken in Garlic Sauce, and everything was fantastic. The Crab Rangoon was also tasty, though it had a slightly different shape and filling than I'm used to. The egg rolls were large and delicious as well. I highly recommend this place!"

"Four generations!. I had dinner with my parents at the Lotus Garden. I have taken my own kids there all of their lives. Now, I take my grandkids! The Lotus has been there all this time for a reason, the food is great! Egg rolls and barbecued pork are house made and delicious! Best sweet and sour pork and chicken you 've ever had. Not to mention, chow mein, lo mein, fried rice, moo goo gai pan, and Szechwan. Some things they have done the same way forever, the cracker and bun basket anyone? Many items on their American menu are not to be missed either. Best Manhattan 's ever! Best cocktail? I say Rum Cow, but fabulous tropical drinks reign supreme here! Don 't forget to say hey to Jimmy! He was the star of the show there in the 70s (still is ha! , when I was a little high school kid working in the 'coffee shop ', which is now the buffet next door. Hopefully the Lotus Garden will be serving great food for 50 more years! And, to the gentleman who has issues with the decor, the Chinese kitsch is part of it man!!!"

"I had a wonderful experience dining at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs. The chicken Tom Yum soup was outstanding—one of the best I've ever had—though I could have done without the tomatoes. The portion sizes were very generous and could easily feed three people. The cashew chicken and chicken fried rice were both flavorful, but I think I’ll try the curry or basil dishes next time. The egg rolls were decent and very crispy, but they could use a bit more flavor on the inside. The garlic shrimp was a delightful surprise and surprisingly delicious."

"We walked into this place and thought, didn?t we eat here like 5 years ago? Yes, and it?s still here, survived C-19 but gives off a dark antique vibe like it?s haunted by better times. "I particularly enjoyed the dim sum, including the chicken feet and spare ribs, which were both very tasty. The vegetable lo mein was also delicious, although I would have liked to see more vegetables in the dish. This lack of vegetables actually reminded me of my travels in Asia, where noodles often come with minimal vegetable accompaniments. The standout dish for me was the hot and sour soup, which was hands down one of the best I have ever had. It had a beautiful smoky flavor to it, adding depth to the dish without overpowering it. "I'm currently staying in a hotel from out of town and ordered from this restaurant the following: 2 liter of soda Wonton Soup Lemon Chicken.Instead of a 2 liter I received 3 cans of Coke and was informed they were out of 2 liters. Doing the quick and dirty math a 2 liter is ~67.6 fl oz. A Can of soda is 12 oz. 67/12 5.58. So I should have received a minimum of 5 cans for cost, technically 5.5. So 5 cans or 6.I also received no flatware with which to eat my meal. No chopsticks, no fork, no spoon, nothing.Luckily I was able to go to the lobby and get some disposable flatware, but that meant coming all the way up to my room, unpacking the food, realizing I had nothing to eat it with, and having to go back down to the lobby.Not a huge deal in itself, but when coupled with the soda issue (especially since the soda is already overpriced, but again stuck in a hotel and figured I'd eat the cost to have it delivered rather than making a trip out to the store)."

"This is our new local BYOB favorite. We have been twice now. The staff is very warm and friendly and the food is excellent. If you like well cooked food and are willing to pay for very interesting tasting beautifully plated food then this is a great place. We went twice and both times they were great even with diet restrictions. It's charming, casual enough to walk in (if you can get in!), But also a great place to visit friends and relatives, or to have a special evening or date. The Wayne area needed a place like this. "Decided to try this place out since we always get fliers for it in our mail box. They are slightly more expensive then our normal place that is just a little further north on Peoria. "Several takeout visits, and with consistent results. Yes, it 's American-ized Chinese cuisine. But yes, it 's the best in the area. Hot and sour soup is a chewy, earthy, white pepper-spiced revelation. Shrimp fried rice offers lots of fresh egg, plenty of veg, and kid-friendly seasoning. You need to order the beef egg rolls a dozen at a time; they keep beautifully and re-heat like a dream. The triple threat jalapeno dish will blow your face off while you happily cannot stop eating it. The cashier is always eager to please, neat and tidy packaging, a remarkable value for consistent and savory quality."
