"This place doesn't even deserve 1 star they always mess up on my burrito I order a burrito with no sour cream and I tell them please no sour cream on the burrito and all they say is yea yea no sour cream even my receipt says it. I live 20 minutes away and I get home and take a bite and there's alot of sour cream even looks like extra sour cream I always ALWAYS have to drive back to get a replacement they don't offer anything to me like a drink or something even though there the ones that messed up. I am extremely allergic to dairy I get really really bad hives this constantly happens I will not be coming back to this place I basically drive an 1 hour just to eat a $12.26 burrito from the driving back and forth and that's not including traffic. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK THIS IS tRIDICULOUS"

"Really wanted to like it… I've heard of Chef Bayless before and have seen this place online as well as on a popular travel food show. Was really excited to try the Torta Ahogado, as I've heard numerous good things about it, but honestly it was like eating bland pork in a flavorless marinara sauce… Believe me, I had high hopes for this sandwich. "I've been here at least 8 times this September, and I can't say enough good things about it! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food is outstanding—especially the cucumber margarita with a Tajin rim; it's absolutely amazing! I also love the taco wall art; it's something I would consider putting in my own home, but don’t worry, I won’t actually steal it—it's way too big for that! Haha. The quesabirrias and gorditas are must-tries here. Everything is consistently fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. I will 100% always recommend this place and will definitely be a lifelong customer. Thanks for everything!"

"The food at this restaurant is simply fantastic! Once you try it, you'll find yourself wanting to stop by every time you pass by. I find myself craving their California Burrito daily—it's got French fries in it! The menu offers something different for each visit, and you'll likely discover a new favorite dish every time. Their pastries and pan dulce are also excellent. We recently ordered Mexican wedding cookies for our wedding, and while they differ slightly from what you might find in Southern Texas, they were nonetheless delicious! I've noticed a few comments about the customer service and seating. As long as you know what you want and don’t hold up the line (which can extend outside), you’ll have a great experience! The staff is very friendly and helpful, but they are busy serving everyone and taking orders. There isn’t a lot of seating inside, but we prefer to place our orders over the phone for pickup anyway."

"Ordered a simple $8.99 Chorizo with eggs to go , the cashier attempted to charge an additional $2.89 showing tip. I asked him why he added a tip and he just smiled. I immediately asked for my money back. Not sure how the food taste and I'll never go back to this"

"I went to this restaurant for the second time, and the first time my friend found bugs in her taco. They claimed it was because of the onions, which is just disgusting. Three years later, I went back and ordered two tacos de lengua. When we received them, they looked like dog food. I asked the cashier what type of meat it was, but she didn't give a clear answer and only said that they were tacos. I told her I wasn't looking for a refund, just wanting to know what kind of meat it was. The customer service was terrible, and we waited for 20 minutes for our food. I will not be returning and I question why this restaurant is still open."

"I enjoyed the parrillada for two, but my partner thought the meat was too dry for his liking. The margaritas were good. As for the service, it was just okay; our waiter always seemed rushed and didn’t give us enough time to finish our order, which made us feel a bit hurried. The ambience was nice, especially with the live band that started playing at 9 o'clock—they were great and had everyone dancing on Saturday night. The owner or manager appeared to be busy attending to other customers, which could be something to consider adjusting."

"I travel to Maryland every year just for the Peruvian foot with my wife and 3 children. My youngest is the pickiest of all. Best ceviche mixto and pollo saltado we had. My children love the rice and the rotisserie chicken. I ordered also the arroz con pollo which is the green rice withe the rotisserie chicken with the potato and yellow sauce i love . Everything about this place and the guy working there sincerely friendly. The chicken was just right . I'm from Peru and I will drive again from Buffalo NY just to eat here."

"worse customer service I've ever received. had a door bag. went to the registration on the bar. No one recognized me or greeted me. they were kind of busy so I tried to understand and patiently wait to be ignored. After about 5 minutes I noticed a hired person who appeared as manager, so she asked to say that it was not ready. so stood to the side and waited longer. I asked cashier to check for order after another 10 minutes. it was said a second that she should talk to a guy in the bar. she never checked for the order and ignored me...rude! So another lady asked and finally got the command that should be delivered about the time I received. I use to be a casser, server, all that, so I am busy this place, but still recognize their customers and welcome them, ask them if I can help them or something. I will not recommend this place update: reply, comment....yes it happened today, right before I wrote this and from reading a few other reviews seems that others were ignored. they teach their staff hospitality. at least to welcome customers. If they're busy, I'll tell you I'm with you, don't look at you like you're stupid and ignorant, but talk to the young in cash. Js....bad customer service can ruin a business no matter how good it could eat"

"this is our first time here and the birria tacos were absolutely delicious! they never had before and completely different from your regular taco. the Steak-Taco was just okay and maybe on another day it would have been better, but after the birrie attempt there is no comparison. the salsa and chips were very good, especially because the chips were homemade very light and crispy and went perfectly with the guacamole. we ordered rice with the tacos that is their standard Mexican rice and goes well with tacos. Finally, it is worth noting that these are quite big tacos for their money. I ordered three, but only could eat two of them tomorrow! keep the great work up and I will be back soon!"

"What a delightful little find we stumbled upon for brunch on Sunday! After being turned away from Mi Cucina on Rt 59 for not having reservations, we drove about a mile to La Poblanita, and it turned out to be an excellent decision! We enjoyed chilaquiles, red enchiladas, and churros with peaches and ice cream for brunch. We’re definitely planning to return to sample more of their menu. The waitstaff was quite busy but also very friendly. We loved our experience!"
