"As soon as we entered, we stood in the entryway while three staff members chatted among themselves for about two minutes. After being seated in the beautifully decorated bar area, we thought it might turn out to be a great experience. The salsa and chips were enjoyable, but things took a turn for the worse after that.
We ordered two waters and two alcoholic beverages, but both drinks were incorrectly prepared. One cocktail was so poorly made that we had to send it back for a redo. When it finally arrived, it tasted watered down. As for the food, it had an unusual flavor—it didn't quite sit right. My partner ordered an enchilada, while I had steak fajitas that came with a strange sauce, which had an unfamiliar shrimp-like taste.
Additionally, my water went unrefilled, and our salsa was never replenished. Every time we needed something, we noticed the bartender engaging in conversation with other staff members instead of attending to customers. At one point, several employees even gathered at a table in the bar for a potluck-style meal while we waited. In order to get more salsa or our bill, we had to walk into the restaurant to find someone to help us.
The overall inattentiveness of the staff was quite frustrating, and this experience left us feeling neglected and disappointed."
