"I've been dining here for years, and my entire family has consistently been 100% satisfied. I've never experienced any issues with the food or service. One time, we were fortunate enough to have someone cover our lunch bill, which made the experience even more special. We absolutely love this restaurant! The food is always delicious, and the portions are so generous that I often have leftovers for a few days, just from my entree. The staff and the owner are very nice as well. This place is always a joy to visit!"

"I walked into the restaurant and was immediately put off by the sight of dirty tables. I asked for water with lemon, but it tasted like it came from a rusty pipe. The margarita I ordered came in a broken glass. The bathroom smelled of urine. However, the Steak Tacos were good, although the Margarita was too sweet. I went outside for a smoke and returned to find a roach on my seat. The servers had difficulty speaking English, and there were house flies swarming my table - could it be because the door was propped open? The salsa was too spicy for my liking, and the dining room looked worn down, not ideal for a romantic meal. It was hard to find the server, so it's best to make a list of everything you need before your food arrives. I also agree with another reviewer's complaint that the optimal experience is not guaranteed if you speak English at this restaurant."

"My son and I stopped here today. Had a few issues. The sauce, although good, had only enough in the bowl for 3 chips and never got refilled. The lady didn't seem to speak English and brought out the wrong food for my son. He asked for 2 cheese enchiladas and she brought one beef. I told her he had ordered 2 cheese and she brought out 2 more. The fajita portions were small... 2 tortillas worth. We just ended up taking it to go since she didn't seem to understand us. Wasn't terrible, but don't think we'd return since we paid for food we didn't order.. and it all fell apart. The beef enchilada was basically just a tortilla with beef.. no cheese. It was very odd."

"I ordered the Degolado Special, which featured chicken, shrimp, and steak alongside peppers, onions, and mushrooms, all served on rice and topped with cheese sauce. It was absolutely delicious—the red peppers had remarkable flavor, and both the chicken and steak were tender. The standout of the dish was definitely the shrimp; I lost count after six! They were perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot that I will definitely visit again! I did take off one star, however, because the chips were stale, likely from an earlier batch. But other than that, it was an outstanding experience!"

"always good! that is hoptown's first authentic restaurant. note. it was an old g’s pancake house! I love the American dream created by the owners. they moved into this city and opened cancun. they have all el braceros in three states. but ultimately I really love the atmosphere, cozyness and comfort at cancun. a few updates would be nice as it is today the original great lunch is! good service. "Las Palmas is still amazing!!!! I was not at this exact location since my 8th grade spanish field trip in 1999, and the food is still fresh, tasy and affordable!!!! I had the al pastor Chimichanga special and my husband had the shrimps and fish tacos. Both plates came hot and tasty. The vino rita was amazing. The fast super friendly service was fantastic. I love and appreciate how every server that handed over our table is stopped to make sure that we were taken care of and asked if we needed anything. Las Palmas has been for years and they are still strong! Will definitely come back for another date night. I wish all restaurants had excellent service like Las Palmas!!!!"

"El Bracero is my go-to Mexican restaurant. The employees are friendly, and the presentation of the food makes you feel like you are in a fancy 10 star restaurant. It tastes so good, and the ingredients are fresh. My family loves to dine in as well as Door Dash when we would rather have a movie night or Im working. My fave dish would have to be the halcisco rice with shrimp steak and chicken with cheese and vegetables. My son loves the nachos, and my other boy loves the salsa and chips."

"apathetic service. my staff and I go to las palmas near vandy. eating is cheap and it is close. Recently we went to the birthday of a coworker and had a very bad experience. first the service was good, but it started to get very slow. we only took it in the tight, as it was the lunch break. one of my coworkers ordered a fajita taco salat, which is grilled in the menu as our tasty chicken, rib eye or garnel with paprika and wobble, served in a crunchy flour tortilla dish, with hot melted cheese, salate, tomato, shredded cheese worker, gucamole and sour cream was presented to my team"

"Can't give the food a rating we never got a chance to eat. Our server asked us our drink order, and then, for the next 25 minutes, he ignored us while serving every other table around us he had to walk past us several times minimum 20 times and never stopped to ask anything. Tried to reach out to the manager to let her know how the experience was in her restaurant. She talked to her for a minute, and she asked my name and number, and I'm still waiting for her call back 3 days later. I don't recommend going to this bonefish grill at all."
