"Really wanted to give it a 4.5 star. The ambience was great and the food was well cooked in general. I usually don’t go to Asian fusion or Asian restaurant with western chef. This one seems to be an exception. After we sat down and 10 minutes went by, no one gave us menu nor water, which was extremely uncommon and surprising; but after I told them so, the service during the dinner was very good. The waiter was very patient and attentive. We ordered a duck for two and a fried rice. They first brought you the whole duck and explained how they are going to make it into two dishes. The duck was freshly cooked after we ordered and they brought it to us under 20 mins, which was very quick. The duck skin was very crispy and the duck meat was moist and tender. It went very well with the soft steam bun. The duck leg dish was kind of bland though. XO crab meat fried rice with sweet corn was very tasty and I didn’t feel very heavy after eating it."

"Fast forward a year later, I was driving to Cleveland to see the Artist Hunter Root and decided to stop by Like My Thai for lunch as I passed through Erie, PA. As I entered the restaurant, I was immediately drawn to the atmosphere with Grateful Dead music playing in the background. I spotted Mike cooking behind the counter and he greeted me with a big smile, recognizing me from our previous encounter. The restaurant had a welcoming vibe, reminiscent of a neighborhood bar where everyone knows each other and engages in playful banter. We discussed music while Mike prepared a delicious Red Curry Chicken dish for me, and his helper made a mouthwatering Fresh Veggie spring wrap. The food was exceptional, and I found myself wishing for a similar dining experience near my home in Amherst, NY. If you find yourself in Erie, PA or passing through, I highly recommend stopping by Like My Thai to say hello to Mike. He is eager to cater to your preferences and create a memorable dining experience. I look forward to cultivating a new friendship with Mike and indulging in more delicious Thai cuisine."

"I've finally found my favorite Chinese restaurant! I went with a friend today and ordered the mini shrimp dumplings, ma po tofu (extra spicy), salt and pepper short ribs and beef stew in clay pot. Everything was so good and flavorful! The mini shrimp dumplings were soft, tender and tasty. The ma po tofu had little bits of pork in it and was full of umami flavor and soft tofu. It's the best I've had so far in NM. Salt and pepper short ribs were super tender inside with a light and crispy exterior and perfectly seasoned. There was no prim and proper way to eat them, so we just dug in. The beef stew in clay pot was impressive! It came sizzling to our table and the aroma!!! So flavorful with tender beef, Napa cabbage and clear glass noodles on the bottom. So very good! We had just missed the lunch rush. The service was polite and efficient. Our server seemed to be happy to see us enjoying our food so much. Very nice guy. We were so happy to be seated at a comfortable booth. So many restaurants seem too modern and almost sterile. This place has a warm and comfortable feel. This is a place we'll go out of our way to visit again. I can't wait to take my husband next time!"

"We ordered the Whiskey Shoyu Ramen with pork belly and one with grilled chicken. The broth was delicious, and the meat was well seasoned. It came with fresh scallions and crispy fried onions, as well as half of a hard-boiled egg. the portion was generous and filling, the brother was tasty, and everything was well packaged, as our food arrived hot."

"The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic! We enjoyed the eggplant, salt and pepper soft shell crab, dry sizzling shrimp and fish pot, and the Sichuan Maocai pot with sliced beef. My favorite dish was the dry pot with shrimp and fish! The seafood was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection, all complemented by a delightful sauce. The manager, Mandy, welcomed us and her recommendations were spot on. She suggested the lychee martini, which was fantastic—not overly sweet and very refreshing. I can't wait to return on my next trip to Chicago!"

"I came here over 5 years ago and found a very small and crowded spot for the hand pulling noodles. The food was amazing even the setting up was not appealing. Also the line was crazy. Now the total space is totally upgraded. No line on a weekday. The food is very disappointed. It is more expensive than Xi’an Noodles but the quality is even worse. The meat is bland.
