"I’m puzzled by the high ratings for this restaurant. I regret having to leave a negative review, but my experience was quite disappointing. The menu prices seemed excessively high for the quality of food we received, and our bill ended up being $1-2 more than the prices listed on the menu. The drinks were overly sweet, the food was not good, and our server made us feel like an inconvenience. We definitely won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend wasting your time here. "This place has, thus far, been the only one to serve Thai food that tastes...well, like you are in Thailand! I have been to Thailand three times in about a year, and their delicious food is one of the reasons I am so drawn to the beautiful Land of Smiles (along with great friendly people, the most beautiful beaches and top notch sightseeing). Now I have one reason less to go to Thailand because Noree Thai has some of the best Thai food anywhere in the world! Add to that the cozy atmosphere with candles on each table, superb service and the most wonderful owner and you have a non fail recipe for a great place! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I sure will be coming back! Great job and khap khun krup, Nong Pla!"

"Drinks were pretty good! Food was okay, we had the king crab bahn mi and vegetarian mi chay, but mostly y’all just need to clean! The lanterns over the bar are dusty and disgusting and hanging over drinks and ice and your food if you eat at the bar. The shutters in the bathroom same thing! I can only assume if cleaning is not kept up with in the areas customers frequent then I imagine the kitchen is lacking in cleanliness! I do have to say the staff was pretty nice and attentive though and I see the potential but I predict this place won’t make it due to not a lot of repeat business"

"My food was delivered promptly and was piping hot. That's the only thing positive I can say about my experience. I have loved Thai food for a long time, but I will not revisit Simply Thai Kitchen.The Spicy Jungle was a complete miss. Horrible!The sauce on the dish was not sauce, it was just hot oil way too much of it. The food was literally swimming in hot oil. The dish was not well seasoned, it just tasted like hot oil.While the beef, green peppers and bamboo shoots were nicely cooked (but oily and not seasoned), the death of the dish was the eggplant. There was lots of eggplant, but it was way undercooked and actually dry. There was none of the silky texture I have come to love about Asian eggplant. It was a bit tough and hard to bite through and chew. It even looked wrong, so the cook MUST have known that it wasn't properly prepared, and just didn't care.I was so disappointed, especially given the rather high price tag. I don't generally give 1 star reviews, but this food was unnecessarily bad. If there was a zero, I would have used it."

"It was rush hour on a Wednsesday afternoon and the service was good. We got the food reasonably quick considering we were a party of 20. I ordered lunch special Drunken Noodles Veggie with added Tofu and medium spice level along veggie springrolls. The spring rolls were ok and nothing more than ordinary when compared to any standard Thai restaurant. The drunkennoodles veggie doesn't come up Tofu which was a surprise since some of the upscale Thai restaurants provide with Tofu. It had anadditional $3 charge which was expensive in my opinion. So overall cost without tax came out to be $18. The noodles were wellcooked and very soft which was yummy with the spice gravy and veggies. Only concern was cauliflower was undercooked. All otherveggies blended well with the spiced. The ambience was great and the food presentation was appealing. A friend of mine gotpineapple drink in a pineapple shaped glass which I have never seen before in a restaurant. Overall I would recommend a visitwith family and friends even during rush hours. I will rate it 3.5/5."

"I absolutely LOVE eaThai! It is one of the best restaurants in the area and though it is a tad small in space, don't let that fool you. The food is consistently good, the staff is friendly and helpful and their menu is diverse and can be amended to your preference. I adore their Panang Curry, Pad Thai, Larb Gai, Veggie Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay and Pineapple Fried Rice. My friends can tell you that their other dishes are good, too. eaThai's take out has always been just as ordered and the quantity is plentiful! Ok. I had mentioned that you can amend the dishes and I do this all the time. Whether you order delivery or takeout online (of course you can eat there as well), there are boxes you can check for double meat, spice level and a place to type in special instructions. For instance, when I am sharing a couple of dishes with friends, I can double the chicken in the Panang Curry and it's more than enough for 2! I also check TWO boxes when it comes to spice level. I check medium and extra spicy and the chef knows exactly what I mean hotter than medium, but not burning my brain hot...just perfect! During this crazy pandemic, everyone who works there has been cautious and safe. I went there one evening to pick up food I had ordered and one young man was answering the phones, packaging takeout orders, taking walk in orders and handling payments. I guess somebody didn't show up, but they made it work and while I was in the restaurant there were a few other people waiting for their food. Do you know what was cool? Every customer there who had been to eaThai before respected the staff and the restaurant. Nobody cared that if we had to wait an extra 5 or 10 minutes. And this young man had a couple of very difficult phone calls, but he was super professional and very kind to the people on the other end of the phone. SO...we chatted and laughed until our various orders were ready and we ALL wanted to pitch in and help this guy who was running ragged by himself. HINT: if you do go online to order takeout or delivery, please go to the eaThai website to order that way instead of through the major companies (like GrubHub) who deliver restaurant food. It saves the restaurant ."

"If I could give them 10 out of 5, I would. I visited this restaurant with a group of 7 late on a Saturday night. We immediately sat by a very friendly waiter. The menu was extensive and had a fantastic vegetarian menu that made it difficult for my vegetarian sister to make their choice for dinner! When ordering for our three children we were told that they were from apple juice. We changed the children's drinks to orange juice and everything was good. A few minutes after the order a woman came out (probably an owner) and said that her house was right around the corner and she would be happy to pick up some apple juice for the children. Of course we went back and didn't want to leave them. After that, our food came fast. It was absolutely delicious. The level 3 spiciness of the pineapple curry was on site. The spring rolls were fantastic. The children's dishes were perfectly proportional. All our meals were perfectly prepared. As if it wasn't enough to make a perfect evening, the service was OUTSTANDING. Do you remember the apple juice? The suspected owner sent someone to get it for us. We were amazed. When we were the two children who wanted to be desperate and it was right when it arrived in perfectly dimensioned children's cups. The staff was attentive, friendly and polite. And the cherry was above when the staff brought all three children a mango purple, totally free. This was our first time in this restaurant, but I can honestly say we will be life-saving customers now. I love this restaurant."

"I highly recommend the Crispy Fried Tofu, Basil Eggplant, and Mee Grob. The chicken satay is quite large, resembling big chicken tenders; however, while the outside has that nice satay flavor, the inside is a bit bland. The fried spring rolls were not impressive—their only redeeming quality was the crispiness. The Basil Beef was good; I ordered it with medium spice and found it milder than expected, but it didn't have a strong basil flavor, although it was tasty in its own right. I'm avoiding carbs, and I noticed that everything seemed to have a hint of sweetness, which is typical for Thai cuisine, but this was less sweet than other Thai restaurants I've tried. Overall, the food is excellent; you just need to know what to choose."

"Was so disappointed, was visiting from out of town, they were near SFO. Ordered from the hotel. When I arrived the whole road had restaurants and they had by far the best business was really looking forward to the dinner. The pad Thai was over the top too sweet to taste anything else. Basically rice noodles, chicken tofu. I had said no onions but had expected bean sprouts, peanuts, some veggies. The chicken salad was even worse, again we had said no onions, OMG must have pulled out a 1/2 cup of onions, real small portion and meat must have been the scraps they couldn't use in the satay all fat and gristle.The people were nice and friendly and working hard the reason for 2 stars instead of one."
