"The service here was very disappointing. The food itself was decent, but it took twice as long as promised to prepare, leaving us waiting despite having called ahead. The staff seemed uninterested and inattentive. One of my friends reached out for a catering order for an event but struggled to get any details after multiple follow-ups. "Want to convince your burger and meat loving friends to go vegan? This may be your best bet in the city. This is where I start with someone who loves burgers and has not been to a vegan restaurant before. These burgers are, hands down, the best in the city. Skip the fries and upgrade to the tater tots (unless you cannot resist fries with your burger). The strawberry lemonade is perfect. Not too sweet, and very refreshing."

"I absolutely adore this restaurant! Every time I visit, I'm greeted with warm smiles. The staff frequently come to check on me to ensure I'm doing well, and it seems like someone always notices when I'm about to leave and makes it a point to say goodbye. One of the lovely ladies working there tonight remembered my little baby since we eat here occasionally, which I thought was really thoughtful, especially since we're pretty low-key and usually just visit for a quick meal. I know the food is more Americanized Indian cuisine, but my Indian husband and I really enjoy this place!"

It's easy to suggest finding another option, but Masala Wok is different; it's a hybrid restaurant that serves both Indian and Southeast Asian cuisine. The concept alone is rather unique. The food is decent enough to satisfy your cravings. While it may not be as bold as your typical Indian restaurant or as delightful as your local Thai spot, it offers a solid "good enough" experience. I particularly enjoy the Butter Chicken because it's not overpoweringly flavorful. Its mild taste pairs well with rice or naan and is the kind of flavor that doesn’t get tiresome after multiple visits. The same can be said for their Tikka Masala, which is a lovely balance of sweet and savory—light and not overly heavy. If you're in the mood for Asian cuisine, I recommend trying their Blazing Noodles. In conclusion, I suggest visiting this place but perhaps not too frequently. I don't think the downsizing aligns well with the rising prices. If you're seeking authentic Indian or Asian flavors, you may want to explore other options. That said, Masala Wok certainly has its own distinct offerings and does its own thing within its unique niche."

"Masala Wok is a wonderful spot for Indian and Indo-Chinese cuisine. My child absolutely enjoys the food. However, for my Indian tastes, I find the paneer naan rolls to be a bit bland. I really hope they introduce a spicier option. The Hakka noodles with paneer are fantastic, much like most of their other dishes. As for vegetarian options, they can prepare noodles, naan wraps, and almost everything else with paneer."

"It's 9:45pm on a Saturday and they abruptly, with no regard for the customer, closed early. Their Google hours was updated a few weeks ago to closing at 10:30pm yet it's 9:45pm and they're closed. Phone's ringing off the hook no doubt other customers wondering where their food is at. The food is good but they get an F when it comes to dealing with the customer. They don't care. They're arrogant like that. Oh, I suggested they edit their hours on Google to reflect the fact that they close at 9:45 on Saturdays."

"Honestly this was not a good experience. I ordered online, arrived 15min after the pickup window, and it still wasn't ready. The whole place was dark and they didn't answer the phone when I called, I had to come near the kitchen to get their attention and then I waited 18 minutes to get my food even though the food was supposed to be ready before I even arrived... that would have been fine for me if the food was good but it really wasn't.The chicken tikka masala did not come with rice which was super disappointing because I had to make some at home which took extra time and ingredients when I just wanted dinner. It is absolutely way too expensive to not come with rice. For $17, I really would like rice. The texture if the tikka masala was really weird and it just did not taste good. Not subtly sweet at all, not memorable, not worth it.We also ordered chicken biryani. The chicken on both dishes tasted like shredded chicken, like it was frozen before, and I don't know if that's true or not but that's how it tastes. The texture and taste were insanely bland. The aloo paratha was not my favorite and left a gross taste in my mouth. I liked the laccha paratha which is why this review has 2 stars...Also, the online ordering system on their website is weird about tips. I tried to manually type in a custom tip and when I added it, it automatically added the highest default tip option with no way to remove it! I like tipping food service workers well because it's respectful so I left it on but was disappointed there was no way to alter it on their website without redoing the entire order. Also, after the experience I had and the dismissive way staff treated me in store, I don't really feel it was deserved.I would not recommend Aroma, sorry."
