"The food, drinks and service were excellent and our table in the background looked out over the garden ... shame it was a bit chilly to dine outside. The only downside was the noise level as there doesn't seem to be any soft surfaces to reduce the noise. We sat next to a table of 6 or 7 people and they had a lively conversation with lots of laughter. Nice people, but we weren't unhappy when they finished. Reina was good value for money and we will be back when we return to Frederic."

"The only constructive criticism I have for the restaurant is that they overlooked my OpenTable reservation, where I specifically requested a table near the band due to my connection with them. Initially, they tried to seat me in a back room until I pointed out my preference for the main room with the band. Thankfully, they ultimately accommodated my request and seated me where I'd asked. If they had been unable to do so, that would have been a different matter, but they didn’t even mention the possibility as they attempted to place us in the back. Overall, everything else was great."

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better cooks with more than one style of cooking who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. Burnt cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"This place was hands down the best Mexicab restaurant we have been in the area. The staff was amazing, we were checked on multiple times. The food is amazing! The prices are so good. We even got the dessert fried icecream and churros do not skip on these! I haven't had good fried icecream in so long. Our family will definitely be back."

"Nice place but small inside. They have outdoor eating as well, also a small area. If you sit in the aisle seat someone seems to always be bumping into your chair. The service is okay. They were busy so didn’t have time to check on us . We had to flag down the waitress 3 times. For refill of drinks, napkins and the check. It’s also a bit pricey, but the food was good. "I just moved to the area god awful this place. Do not drink the red sangria its full of syrup and a drop of red wine, i got so sick it upset my stomach bad. The portions are a joke, huge plate such little food/presentation. The skirt steak was good but not for the price. Service was so awful to the point not worth complaining just laugh it off with your partner and make the best of it. Server is always MIA in the beginning but ALWAYS on top and around when the bill is set paid. Utensils are disgusting and so messed up. We took 4 from the table next to us to have all 3 dirty, crusty old food on the knife in between the fork head. The only one who made it nice and showed they cared a the busser. He was so sweet cared spoke with us, i rather have tipped him than our server. I will stick with East Meadow cleaner, nicer, busier, better portions"

"I was happy to get back to one of my favorite spots in the city this past weekend.  We were going to see a show at the Academy and this was a perfect location to grab a bite to eat, a few cocktails, and then head to the show. My wife had never been andit had been a few years since I was there so I was hoping it was as good or not better than I remembered.   And it was just asit has been.  Service is always top-notch there and there are so many wonderful dining areas inside the restaurant. As it wasearly in the evening they sat us in the bar area which is nicely decorated. They go all out on the decor, and there is a lotto see and take in.  You always get some chips and salsa to start things off, and they are very tasty.  Some pico de gallo andsome salsa to mix things up. We started with the Queso fundido with chorizo and man that cheese is tasty.  And ooey and gooey.  The flour tortillas were soft and warmed up nicely.  This was a great way to start things off. I tried a couple (4) oftheir cocktails and loved each one.  Two I can name, are the Colina and the margarita diablo.   I like a spicy drink and toldour waiter this, and he said Hold on, I have something for you .    I wish I knew the name of them but always ask the staffand they can make what you are looking for. My wife went with the chicken enchiladas, and I chose the enchiladas de playa withshrimp, lobster, and crab.  They were so good.  The sides were great too, including their refereed beans and rice. We neededto try the churros for research purposes to see how they compared to the best in the world (in the One and only resort, CSL),and they were great a close second. All in all a pleasurable meal and a great start to a Friday date night."

"The lady at the front with the bangs is rude and spoiled my view for the entire restaurant. The phone call to place a pick up order sounded like she hates her job saying that the order I was placing sounds similar to an existing order a customer didn’t bother to pick up so she couldn’t take my order after getting passed that I tried to continue with my order she said I don’t understand you I’ll place the order for what I have and hung up on me. I didn’t even want to go pick the order because of how rude she was. After getting there the order was still incorrect which was no surprise and when I said something she rolled her eyes and huffed her breath. This was the second time I’ve been here and both times she was rude. I definitely will not be back. The owners should really reconsidered front of house because I’m sure I’m not the only business lost behind her!"

"Stopped in with my husband looking for something slightly off the river walk. The prices were fantastic, especially in comparison to the restaurants down on the actual river walk! We were both pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. Our service was great, and the food was amazing. I ordered a skinny margarita and loved that it was made with fresh lime juice instead of some kind of mix. For lunch I got the carnitas bowl and it didn?t disappoint! The blend of seasonings was perfect. My husband ordered fish tacos and said they were some of the best he?s had. We will definitely go back next time we?re in the area."

"The service at Plata needs significant improvement. I received a text message saying my order was ready for pick-up, but when I arrived, I ended up waiting an additional 45 minutes. It really defeats the purpose of pre-ordering. While I enjoy Plata and will definitely come back, I have to say that the to-go service is quite poor, and the dine-in experience leaves much to be desired. The food is good—though not exceptional—but I wish I could find a place that offers both tasty food and excellent service. If you know of any nearby establishments that fit that bill, please let me know! I’d love to make it my go-to spot for Mexican cuisine."

"I got Passover take out. The food was very tasty. They had large portions. Very convenient.We asked for delivery to the Valley two days before Passover. We called at the end of the day. They said it would come the day before Passover. We called the next day and they said they would not be able to deliver.They refunded me for the delivery fee since I picked it up.When I calked, they said they did not have two kugels ready. We asked for a refund. I went to pick up the food. They said the kugels were in the oven. I said that's ok, just refund me. They said it doesn't work that way since they were preparing it. I waited an hour and got the two kugels. It was still worth it as the food was plentiful and made for an easier than usual Passover."

"I submitted a request to be seated indoors for our meal. The host informed me upon arrival that due to a large party reserving most of the indoor dining area, my group had to sit outside. I hope in the future they have a better system in place to inform guests who make reservations that they have to deny requests due to limitations with their space. Knowing there would be changes mandated by the establishment, my group would have probably desired to dine where an indoor table was available. We were looking forward to the food at Milagros so we stayed. The heat lamps kept most of us comfortable."
