"This restaurant has a lovely ambiance, but to label it as Mexican food does a disservice to the vibrant and rich culture of Texas. The flavors were incredibly bland. The chips tasted like generic corn tortilla chips you'd find at Costco, and the salsa was reminiscent of store-bought picante sauce. The tortillas were also pre-packaged. The rice was plain, lacking any traditional Mexican seasoning, and the refried beans tasted like they came straight from a can. It was disheartening to see such a beautiful place serve such disappointing food. Additionally, the margarita was both small and unremarkable for $14. I would recommend looking elsewhere for an authentic experience."

I've been to Las Palomas many times and always have a good meal. The cochinita pibil (shredded pork) is very good. View menu

We have dined here for 30+ years. Food good. Picky husband really liked his. I'm vegan and there are very limited choices for me. The waiter seemed to want be elsewhere. Appetizer came out with husband's meal. View menu

This is one of the loudest restaurants in Westlake Hills. Never been an attempt to improve the noise level. The food and service have always been good. Parking: Parking during the noon hour is difficult. Parking for evening meal is reasonable.

The food here was absolutely awful. The ingredients were low quality and seemed very cheap. They even charge you for subpar chips and salsa. Everything tasted like it came straight from a can. White rice? Really? The taco meat had a terrible flavor, and the queso was reminiscent of what you’d find at a baseball game. It was the worst dining experience.

"I literally just made a review but I’m going to make another one because for whatever reason someone or somehow it got deleted. I used to be a regular at Bouldin and the service was always amazing but my last two visits have been by far horrible. The service has been so poor that I felt disgusted when leaving the restaurant. There are two girls that work there with light brown hair and blue eyes. Pretty sure one of their names is Rego. My boyfriend and I were served by her before and she seemed nothing but annoyed and couldn’t care less if we were in her section. Barley even interacted with us or asked how our meal was and just seemed disgusted by us, just being rude passive aggressive for no reason at all. I’m a server and I KNOW this isn’t how you treat your guests and the same thing happened tonight. She just seemed like she couldn’t care less if we were there and just seemed annoyed? I don’t mind paying the gratuity if I’m being treated decently but that wasn’t the case and I feel as though they feel like they think they can get away with behaving like mean girls just because there’s a gratuity. I have friends that dine here as well and they have had the same experience. I’m not one to write reviews but I feel this needs to come across a managers attention so they know who they are hiring and how they are treating customers. Really disgusted and disappointing and if this gets deleted again I’ll write another review or just call the store to speak to a manager. Disgusted by their behavior."
