"Lot of bad things with this place.1. The food just isn't up to par with other Mexican restaurants in the area. Tacombi is miles ahead in taste.2. The chips always taste stale. I've tried ordering them five times and they're always stale.3. They will mess up your online order consistently. All I ordered was a burrito and instead got the plate.4. The prices are very high compared to competitors.The only pros I can give this place is they're quick to make your order and the portions are somewhat big. "I had a wonderful brunch experience at this traditional American restaurant and would definitely give it a solid 4-star rating. The service, particularly from Carlos, was excellent and we felt well taken care of throughout our meal. Our table was chosen carefully to accommodate our stroller, and our coffee and food were served promptly with a smile and some lighthearted morning jokes. The menu offered a variety of affordable and generous-sized dishes, including 6 types of Benedicts to choose from. I would recommend trying the Linguica Benedict with hash browns, but there are plenty of options to suit any taste. The pie selection was excellent and the coffee was good, rounding out a satisfying dining experience. Overall, I was very pleased and will definitely be returning for more. Thank you, Buttercup!"

"This is for a take out order. I'm pretty easy to please but I was looking for comfort food and ordered a patty melt and disco fries. This order was inedible- soggy, greasy bread, tasteless meat and disgusting fries. If I had been to see I would have refused it. Know how to send food hot and crisp, not soggy and falling apart and swimming in grease. Love the owners but do better. Gross! Service: Takeaway Food: 1 Service: 2"

"It makes me sad to put this type of review, since my wife and I are regular customers of this restaurant, but the night before the customer service left much to be desired with the new staff they have, Kevin and Katerine are no longer there, some excellent guys who served wonderfully, this new staff was really unpleasant, the attention, the girl, shouted from one corner to another, was at the bar having a drink of tequila, there were diners still in the restaurant and she came out dragging the garbage all over the hallway, then there were about three at the bar as if they were watching a football game talking about other customers and drinking, I think it's a lack of respect for the place and for us customers. The attention was very bad, the services were dirty with rice stuck to the sticky table, we always had a very nice experience but yesterday left much to be desired."

"Had a 7:30 PM reservation, arrived at 7:20 PM. Did not get seen by a server for 20 minutes, and did not get our drinks, which simply were two cocktails and two lemonades, until 8 PM. Appetizer arrived 10 minutes later, but by this time, the service was so poor we decided to leave after paying the bill. Also, no air conditioning was on for some reason, just fans overhead. Heard so many great things about this place, and yes, the cocktails were good, but service was horrendous"

"I visited this restaurant for brunch on Mother’s Day. It appeared to be a bit understaffed, but they managed to accommodate us when everywhere else was fully booked. They had run out of several items and there seemed to be some confusion regarding what was available for the holiday, but the food was fantastic and the staff made an effort to rectify any issues. The menu was extensive, the portions were generous, and the flavors were delicious. We ended up returning later on the same trip for drinks and more food, which says a lot about the place. Overall, it’s definitely a great dining spot if you’re in the area."

"otto doesn't seem to be what it was. it was our first visit and unfortunately last. although the waitress was very nice, it was moderate and restaurant tired. as a German brewhouse we have ordered German specialties, but disappointed by the quality as meat and was overcooked and who knows where the red carnival came from. one of our party ordered the pork-brain and subsequently suffered a night of visiting the bathroom many paintings and missing work on the following day. the next day she said that she thought that meat tasted something. the restaurant has a great potential, but in any case needs new management and a facelift."

"My mother and I tried Gaston’s today for the first time and it was a great experience! We started with the Baked French Onion the Lentil soup, which were both delicious. We then each got a salad.. which were incredible! The salad portions are HUGE, made with extremely fresh ingredients, served with a large side of dressing and a breadstick. My favorite part was the Mock Tail menu…perfect for expecting mamas like myself. The servers were very polite and personable, and the owner was extremely friendly. He introduced himself to us, and he made sure to touch down at every table. Thank you Gaston’s, we cannot wait to come back!"

"We were craving crepes and decided to check out this restaurant nearby for brunch. The atmosphere was pleasant and the place was bustling with diners, but unfortunately, the servers didn’t seem very welcoming. We noticed that others who arrived after us were served first, and we had to wait a good 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. When a server finally approached, she asked if I wanted coffee, but her attitude came across as quite rude. I accepted the coffee, thinking it was complimentary. Shortly after, one of the friendliest servers, Anna, came to take our order, which really brightened our experience. We enjoyed the food, but the service felt uneven, and we didn’t quite understand why. There were moments when we felt a bit overlooked. If it hadn’t been for Anna’s warm greeting and genuine smile, we probably wouldn’t consider coming back. It’s crucial for all staff in a restaurant to be trained to greet customers with at least a simple smile—it shouldn’t be too difficult! Overall, it’s a nice place with good food, but they definitely need to work on their service."

"I always thought highly of this place because of the pics I think. I ordered today thru ubereats. AWFUL FOOD. As soon as i opened the box, it stunk up my room. I was wondering what it was, it was the cantaloupe, ROTTEN. Threw it out right away. The eggs didnt smell that good either, they were probably nearly spoiling when they were cooked. "My husband and I went out for dinner on Sunday and decided on Chili's, which is just 0.4 miles from our home. We usually opt for curbside pickup, but this time we decided to dine in. The restaurant was surprisingly empty, possibly because people were away for the long weekend. The staff was friendly, and our server was outstanding—very attentive and regularly checking in to see if we needed anything. I didn't catch her name, but she was truly excellent. We ordered the Cajun Shrimp Alfredo with a side of steamed broccoli, since we hadn't had pasta in a while. We rated the meal five stars because it was really delicious. I especially appreciated that the pasta wasn’t overwhelmed with Alfredo sauce; I prefer to taste the flavor rather than feel like I'm eating soup. It was just right. As for drinks, we're both fans of margaritas. I had the Blackberry Margarita and my husband had the El Nino, both of which were fantastic—so much so that my husband had two! Overall, our meal and drinks were wonderful, and it turned into a lovely quiet evening together. The staff was incredibly nice and the restaurant was very clean. We also loved the contactless payment option—what a great idea! I'll be sure to post some pictures."

"Best place in Killeen by far!! Service was excellent!! There were a few times my baby dropped his toy and before I could even bend over, the manager (assuming so he was in a suite) was already there to pick it up! The server was awesome very attentive and friendly. The food was just amazing! "I had the mild wings and chili, without onions or sour cream, and they were excellent. The atmosphere is definitely that of a lively pub, with music playing loudly. Upon entering, you can choose any seat. This was my first visit, and I did find myself needing to catch the attention of the waitstaff, as there were only two servers on duty. Surprisingly, we had a great time despite that. The parking was convenient, just a three-minute walk away. While the neighborhood might seem a bit rough, the vibe inside the pub was really cool, and everyone was in high spirits!"

"Good size menu, plenty of choices but mot over done. We could not take food home with us as we were passing through, so we tried to be mindful of that. Portions are huge and impressive!! My kids loved how huge the pancakes were and they fun options to top them with. My husband got a filling portion too and mine was perfect for what I wanted (more health mindful). Stopping here was a recommendation from home (IL) and we would definitely recommend for anyone! We wish we lived closer because we would visit often!!"

"We went for Thanksgiving. It was out first visit, but we’ll definitely be returning! The venue itself is lovely. Open, well decorated, quality furniture. We were greeted by 2 very nice hostesses who seated us immediately even though we were early. The food was phenomenal! We ordered from the Thanksgiving menu (19.95 for a 3 course meal- 3 choices! We both ordered the steak, with roasted potato and mixed vegetables, and were blown away by the quality and the taste. The salads were enormous and delicious. The plating was beautiful. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. Even though it was pretty busy, we never felt rushed nor forgotten. We enjoyed the late 80s and 90s background music. The volume was ideal- lots of conversations happening, but we weren’t struggling to hear each other. The pumpkin martini was strong and completely on point. Both the apple pie and the pumpkin cheesecake were superb. This may be our new date night place!"

"When we walked into the stagecoach restaurant I said two things, what a dive and I bet they will have incredible food. We ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches with bacon. "The place is well laid out and a great place to people watch. The food is good and the beer selection robust. The service stinks. The wait staff is inattentive and slow. I watched our 3 rounds of drinks sit at the end of the bar for 10 minutes each time and the first round was wrong. We were interrupted 3 times while eating by a food server bringing us other people’s orders. The only thing promptly delivered was the bill. We would have ordered desert but the bartender and our server were tied up with another tables screwed up order. I wish I could recommend the place but both times I was there I had the same lackluster experience. I had high hopes with them rebranding to Bottlehouse 42."
