"This is for a take out order. I'm pretty easy to please but I was looking for comfort food and ordered a patty melt and disco fries. This order was inedible- soggy, greasy bread, tasteless meat and disgusting fries. If I had been to see I would have refused it. Know how to send food hot and crisp, not soggy and falling apart and swimming in grease. Love the owners but do better. Gross! Service: Takeaway Food: 1 Service: 2"

The service was great. I had the best sweet potato fries ever. The coffee was to die for. I will go the next time I am in the area. The bathroom was super clean. That was a bonus. View menu

Found this Gem diner on the heart of downtown Brooklyn near Cadman Plaza. The food was delicious, courteous service. True Canyon style look. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Would go again.

What a wonderful restaurant. Service and food were excellent and the vibe of the restaurant is chilled and welcoming. We ordered the jack cheese burger deluxe meal and breaded chicken wrap, with both meals being spot on.

Just what you’re looking for in a diner for breakfast. Big portions, good food, and a really good Mexican breakfast section. I ordered chorizo eggs with fresh avocado, which isn’t on the menu, and they made it beautifully. View menu

I go here often when I'm shopping or running errands. Located in Brooklyn Heights on Montague St., this has been a go-to spot for me since the eighties. My favorite is the Turkey Burger Deluxe and a half-n-half (lemonade &iced-tea). They have an extensive diver's menu, so there's something for everyone!

The menu at Grand Canyon Restaurant Bar was extensive, resembling an old Yellow Pages directory. There were numerous options available, and everyone in my party of six, including our vegan friend, found something they liked. The service was prompt, and we never felt rushed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with a diverse dining menu on Montague Street.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
