"I went to El Matador's restaurant since 1982. My parents took me there when I was a kid, and now I take my family. This place is not your usual restaurant. From 1968, this restaurant served as a kind of hidden treasure at Upstate, SC. David and his team are nothing but culinary genius. The atmosphere is original and it feels like at home. Salsa is dying because I know he is not imported or bought. David grows his own paprika and creates this wonderful taste I have enjoyed for years. They're doing everything out of the ground. The staff is by far the most polite thing I have ever experienced, and that says a lot in today's time when others treat you as inconvenience. Try this place, take your family and friends.
