If you want to raise prices of everything on your menu by 1 dollar or more per item then service should exceed prior business , Not regress. Sad because food is good when it's warm. "This is our favorite place to go to breakfast. The staff is always nice and the food is great. They have a patio for the nicer days, but I don 't think we have ever sat on it. The restaurant is not big inside, but we have never waited long. Decor is 'hole in the wall ', but the food makes up for any lack of decor. There is no beer list, but never ending coffee is usually what we need anyway! I have liked everything I have gotten here. TBG always has to finish my plate so we order different things. I like to get the egg sandwich on a bagel, but also love the eggs benedict, and the stuffed french toast. TBG likes the eggs benedict and sometimes gets it with cajun steak. We have visited a handful of times after breakfast and their lunch/dinner food is also good. The pastrami and corned beef are homemade and good, and the sandwiches are huge. "We really love the pizza at this place! After living in the area for 12 years and enjoying another local pizzeria, we finally found Corleone. Last night, we sampled a white pizza for the first time, and it was amazing. All of our friends who joined us also enjoyed their pizzas. "If you're in the mood for a typical diner experience with friendly service, Sage Diner is the spot for you. I visited this morning at 7:30, and the place was eerily quiet; I was the first customer, even though they had opened 30 minutes prior. I took a seat at the counter and was warmly welcomed by a cheerful waitress. As I browsed the menu, I enjoyed a cup of coffee that was surprisingly good for diner standards. I ordered the full Sage Slam, which is reminiscent of Denny's breakfast, and it turned out to be quite tasty. The pancakes were satisfying, and while the eggs were meant to be over-easy, they came out closer to medium—definitely not ideal for someone in a button-down shirt. However, the bacon and sausage were cooked to perfection! Just a heads-up, they are undergoing construction, so it might look like they’re closed from the outside. Overall, I rated it 7/10 and would definitely go back."

"First time trying this place. We had a pretty decent group so we took my dad for Father’s Day last night (Saturday). It was quite an odd experience. Overall the food was pretty good. We all liked what we got. Except the older waitress there was RUDE as could be. She didn’t say hello just said sit anywhere you want someone will be with you. If it had been busy, I could understand. I’ve worked in the service industry for 13 years, I get it. Then this young girl comes and takes our drink orders and walks away before I can even ask for a glass of Pinot noir. She comes back, I ask for it and she doesn’t say a word. About 20 minutes later I ask about the wine. She said “oh let me go check”. Another 15 later she brings back a glass of white wine.?‍ I tell her this is wrong and she sends the mean one over and she said “look, we don’t even have pinot noir.” Like I did something wrong lol. This went on all evening. The entire time we were there hip hop was BLASTING from the kitchen and so were cuss words. It was the most unprofessional and least intimate experience we’ve had at an Italian restaurant. The best part was the food and the manager (I’m assuming) asking us about the Groupon.? I suggest take out if you must go here."

"Poor service. We were there right at peak dinner time. Granted, it was a weeknight. But there was just one server/cashier in addition to the kitchen staff. Hardly any customers. When it came time to pay, I stood at one of two registers, not realizing I was at the wrong one. Server/cashier ignored me for at least 5 to 7 minutes, after which she walked over to the other register, still barely acknowledging me. I gave her my credit card, she ran it, put the copies on the counter, still said nothing to me (not a thanks, not a have-a-nice-day, nothing) and just walked away. The atmosphere was typical for a diner, but as I mentioned it was noticeably empty. I ordered typical American fare, and the portion and quality were passable at best."

"Dana is the best waitress here, hands down. One of us ordered the breakfast combo (pancakes, scrambled eggs w/cheese, turkey bacon, turkey sausage). The other guest ordered the California burger with mushrooms sauteed onions as extras on it. The burger was cooked to perfection and very tasty. I like how the burger combos come with fries, pickle, coleslaw a choice of soup. For under $20 you can't beat that price. Portion sizes are very hearty here. Service was excellent, spacious seating booths, adequate parking. A hidden diner gem in the far NE that I thoroughly enjoyed. Don't hesitate stopping past here for a hearty meal great customer service. And see if u can get Dana too."

"I must begin with ordering for a birthday celebration for my husbands 80th birthday and the very pleasant manager who helped me order, he was honest because he felt I ordered too much food for the amount of people attending so I scaled back and he was right. I ordered several entrees and chicken fingers which got rave reviews . One guest said the eggplant rollatini was the best she ever had!!!!! Every choice I made was complimented as being delicious even the chicken fingers which I ordered for the children were a hit with the adults. Thank you Calda Massapequa for helping make this event memorable for us!!!"

"The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I especially enjoyed the Strawberry Cheesecake. However, there was some confusion with our server. A young man initially helped us by seating us and taking our order, but later on a young woman took over. When we needed something, the first server would just point to the second server. This caused some issues with the service as neither checked on us frequently."

"Decided to stop based review of spinach ravioli! They was totally wrong!!! It Is cheese ravioli with tomato and spinach sauce. 5.5 out of 10 I also had the Ny strip syeak with stuffed flounder with minced crabmeat. Steak is medium well I asked for a crispy char nowhere near any char its is medium well but this grade of meat is the lowest. From having lift out my seat to apply enough pressure to cut it so you already know how it was to chew. NY Strip steak 2out of 10 Now the stuffed flounder ok if I had no teeth even then just from the two bites I had small pieces of crab shell with it. And the texture as I said mush mush of the sea and wet...the servers was ok, but she saw how dissatisfied I was with 99% of the food still on the dishes offered no discount. My recommendation to have is maybe try the breakfast?‍"

"This was terrific as a little traditional 50s diner. Little parking lot on the side. Staff was very nice. I think the potato salad side was awesome. My companion liked the cole slaw side. My club sandwich had great ingredients but the bread was a little dry. My companion?s chicken salad was tasty but she also took hers off the dry bread. Not sure if more Mayo would help but I?ll ask for that next time."
