"Once inside, we spoke to what appeared to be a table coordinator. She moved us to the front of another queue, informing those who had been waiting that we had priority due to our reservation. This understandably upset the people who had been in line without reservations. The organization was lacking, as we ended up waiting another 10 to 15 minutes for a table to become available, despite seeing many people leaving from a busy area further back. When we pointed this out, the coordinator seemed confused and didn’t grasp our suggestion that we should check for available tables down there. I asked if we could inquire about those tables, but she insisted she would be informed via her radio when there was space—whatever that meant.
I couldn’t help but wonder why they allowed reservations if there were no available tables and why people without reservations were allowed to queue, potentially taking reserved tables. The coordinator had no answers and simply shrugged, saying she didn't know.
Additionally, no one checked our reservation, so we could have easily claimed we had booked without consequence. It felt rather chaotic, but we finally managed to snag a small table on the left. A waitress approached us—she was polite and friendly—but she kept getting distracted, shouting orders to other staff about food being taken to the wrong tables. It was quite noisy, with a lot of shouting, but the restaurant still managed to have a lively atmosphere.
As for the food, we ordered a variety: Hennessey chicken wings, sticky boneless wings, spicy wings, pulled pork burgers cooked well, and brisket burgers cooked medium-well. The portions were generous, and everything tasted good, although the brisket burgers were a bit more rare than medium-well. We couldn't finish everything and took the leftovers in boxes to give to people in need on the streets.
Overall, the experience was decent. The prices were reasonable, and the portions generous—consider sharing if you go! The frozen drinks were delicious, but the reservation system and general organization at the entrance definitely need improvement."
