Now known as 1097 Pub, this place is undergoing renovations and improvements. It features a full bar with excellent drinks. I've visited twice, and both times the service has been very good. The pub food is also quite enjoyable.

The beer bottles we were served had an unpleasant smell, and the burger came with a stale bun. When I brought these issues to the attention of management, I was treated as if I were a troublesome customer, even though I still paid the bill. I won't be returning.

This small restaurant, located away from the hustle and bustle, offers more than just beer and pizza. They serve the best fish and chips outside of Houston. The dish includes four generous pieces of cod served with coleslaw and waffle fries. Just add a little tartar sauce, and you’re all set! Plus, on Fridays, it’s a special deal for only $10.95! Wow! And just to clarify, I don’t work there; it’s worth the time and drive to enjoy such a delicious meal.

I can’t give less than 2 stars because the food is good. However, we were informed 10 minutes after placing our order that my son’s choice was out of stock, so he had to change his order. His food arrived over 10 minutes later, and he had to eat it quickly before the other two meals finally arrived. When they did, my drink was already two steps cold due to the ice. The food used to be fantastic, and the crawfish was no exception! Unfortunately, the crawfish has gone downhill and is now disappointing. They provide squeeze butter and tiny spice packets that are difficult to open; we even had to use a knife to get them open. The crawfish lacks flavor, which is a letdown. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I would recommend this place if you're planning to drink and order appetizers. I decided to give 1097 Pub and Grill a try. I had been there about three months ago when it was known as 242. It was early dinner time, and I remembered that my favorite dish was the beer-battered fried shrimp. Although the shrimp was slightly different this time, it was still large with a crunchy batter. However, I was disappointed with the menu, which felt more like typical bar food. I've never seen mini corn dogs offered as a main entrée before. The mushrooms as an appetizer were good, though. I would only return for the fried shrimp. On a positive note, our server was very polite and attentive.

The restaurant has been renamed Texas Craft Wings following a family dispute. Overall, it’s an okay place, similar to its previous identities as Tailgaters and 242 Pub. However, if you find yourself at the bar with a female bartender who calls you “friend,” it's best to be cautious, especially if you're alone. She may not keep an eye on your drink, and if you express concerns about your drink being moved or the amount changing after a bathroom break, she'll brush it off, claiming she was too busy, despite the place being mostly empty.
