"My mother (god rest her soul) used to make Slippery (Flat) Dumplings. Imagine my surprise when I watched the DDD episode and Hob Nob Hill had Slippery Dumplings just blocks from my home! But, when I got my order, I found they were in fact the regular, southern style Drop Dumplings. Why did you change the recipe!?! Kinda false advertising. It was still comforting, if not VERY salty."

"It was my son's and husband's birthday. When we got there there was only 6 people . We waited over a hour and still got our order wrong . How do you mess up hot wings. We ordered breaded and flavored. Then had to send back and came out naked. We will never be back and friends and family. I have been manager in fast food and to do business like that you will go under. Plus never Acknowledged their birthday.. Very unprofessional, sorry, usually never complain ."

"My friend and I usually stop here after golfing nearby, and it's pretty much what you would expect at any other Hooters: great wings, large TVs, etc. That being said, there is one issue: the draft beer is INCREDIBLY foamy. I don't know if this is the fault of the waitresses or the tap, but ordering a beer here takes like 10 minutes because the foam has to continually be dumped out and refilled multiple times per beer. Originally, I thought it was due to the waitresses turning setting the tap to full blast by pulling it all the way. They like to turn it on high, leave it, and come back to it. My initial thought was they should fill the cup on a slant and not with the tap fully engaged. It's possible, though, that they've already tried this, and it's still foamy. As such, I will give them the benefit of the doubt (but I am still skeptical). I've been coming here about 3-4 times per month for several months, and the issue persists across waitresses. No idea what the fix is, but it definitely needs to be addressed. I have never seen anything like this at any restaurant/bar establishment. Curiously, Clayton Cohn"

"This was our first time dining at Hooters and our waitress, Kendall, was incredibly sweet and attentive. While the food wasn't my favorite, I recommend that if you're going to use breast meat for the tenders and boneless wings, they should be brined and seasoned more as they were tough and lacked flavor. However, the honey buffalo sauce was exceptional. My suggestion for the future would be to improve the seasoning on the chicken. On a positive note, the mozzarella sticks were the best I've had from a restaurant so far."

"I haven't been to Hooters in 28 years, so I was excited to come across this location. Esthetically the restaurant needs an overhaul but I tried their food anyway. On the first visit, service was amazing! I loved the fried pickles. Ordered the fish and chips and the fried fish tacos which were just okay, but were very bland and greasy. I loved the fried pickles so much that I went back again the next day, but my service that day was terrible. Our server was very stoic and mechanical so her tip was not at the percentage level as our first waitress. Ordered the fried pickles the second visit and they were not tasty at all."

"I have given this restaurant my last chance. I always order To Go and I always have something missing from my order. Today I checked my bag before I left and I was missing my 5 piece tenders. I let the staff know and the manager comes to fix the problem. Unfortunately, I was not given an apology and barely felt like my business was important to him. I will not be coming back to a restaurant that cannot get an online order correct or provide good customer service."

"I might have visited on an off night, but my experience at Hooters was quite disappointing. It took over an hour for our food to arrive, and the noise level was overwhelming. Our waitress was friendly and seemed just as frustrated with the kitchen delays as we were. Clearly, there’s an issue back there that needs addressing, both in terms of staffing and management. The manager did come out to apologize and offered a discount, but he appeared indifferent and lacked enthusiasm in his apology. The whole evening felt like a mess, and it seemed like he didn’t really care about our experience. The food was mediocre at best. The shrimp had been left under a heat lamp too long, making them difficult to peel and resulting in a strange texture. The rest of the dishes were passable. I’m rating it 2 stars instead of 1 solely because of the excellent service from our waitress."

"It had been a while since our last visit to Hooters, but I must say everything was outstanding! We went for lunch and savored the lemon pepper shrimp appetizer, oysters on the half shell, boiled shrimp, crab legs, and garlic parmesan chicken wings. Everything was delicious! Our waitress was very friendly, providing excellent service and always greeting us with a smile. The manager, Ritchie, even stopped by our table to check on how everything was going."

"Hooters is a joke. I was a manager there in the Gastonia location. This place is ran by the girls and the girls do not care about the guest. I have had to deal with a cook being promoted to a manager that does not know how to manage, a GM that I had to keep organized as well. There were countless times that none of the office work was done by the other manager so I had to pick up his slack. I was fired for buying 2 UNC Tarheel Coke bottles for $5 a piece when the Regional Manager would accept handouts from vendors for Carolina Panther tickets. I was cussed at by a kitchen guy in the uptown location, all the proper paperwork was filled out and the RM just sweated it under the rug. I was assaulted at the Gastonia location, documented everything, presented it to the RM and he just threw it away. Hooters is supposedly big on carding everyone but even with the video, they did not fire the girl who let 6 people drink without carding. I have that video footage. I was confronted by a regular who told me that 2 girls propositioned him for sex, one for $750 and one for $1000 plus, all this was brought to the GM attention and nothing was done. We had another girl there that has multiple complaints against her and she still has a job. She also accused the dishwasher of touching her when she called him at 1 am to come to pick her drunk self up, then she proceeded to get into his car, turn up a 1/5 of Vodka and smoke a joint. All these problems plus more were brought to the GM and RM attention and nothing was done. I have since let the president and vice president know what is going on in their restaurants and once again, nothing was done. I have tons of photos of how the restaurant was kept and how it was for me to walk into. The staff there does not care about the guest only what they can get from them. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your diner, Twin Peaks if you want that kind of environment. Avoid Hooters at all costs. All of this is true and facts, I have so much information and photos to back up any and all of this. After reading some of these recent reviews, it does not surprise me bc they are right. The girls only care about getting high, money they can get from the hard-working guests with no work to earn it."

"The food here is sooooooo freaking good! To start the deviled eggs topped with brisket are the bomb. So luscious, silky and delicious. The charred brussel sprouts have pomegranates in them and melt in your mouth. Mac n cheese is so creamy and silky and pair perfect with baby back ribs that are finished on the grill...OMG you talking about good eating! Service was great and staff is very friendly. They play an array of classic and current music and it is beautifully decorated with cozy couches and plush pillows. This is now one of our favs..."

"Went on 4/4/22 around 4pm. My two daughters and I ordered wings as usual. The first set that came out were very overcooked, and hard. We ordered spicy garlic (extra wet) and lemon pepper. The waitress said the spicy garlic is now a dry rub now. I informed her I come often, and it’s always a sauce. She took it back and actually brought it back with the correct sauce. So now I had some unknown dry season plus the spicy garlic sauce. HORRIBLE. And my daughters lemon pepper wings looked and tasted like regular plain wings. The waitress even agreed they didn’t look like lemon pepper. I know it wasn’t just me, because the family at the next table had complaints as well. The waitress told me they weee having issues with the cooks. I usually go to that hooters twice a week with my kids, but after that experience, I won’t anymore."

"First time at Hooters. This location is in a run down area of used to be restaurants and seems to be one of the last ones standing. We came in during the basketball semi-finals. We saw a bunch of dudes sitting at the bar with a bartender and we waited at the front to be seated but no one came out and sat us. We almost turned around and left but someone in another area of the restaurant saw us and called out for a waitress to come and sit us down. Finally, two waitresses came out and one of them sat us down and gave us menus.We ordered the Daytona beach style wings, original style wings in chipotle honey, a side of fries, and original Buffalo shrimp entree.I was told Hooters is notoriously slow in making their food but ours came by after about a 15 min wait. Food quality was good but overpriced. I left full but not satisfied.Our waitress was good to us. She left us alone, tended to us here and there, and was polite. I noticed the other waitress spend a little more time talking up her male customers. I also overheard our waitress talk to someone who came in and apparently a waitress no-call-no-showed."
