"My mother (god rest her soul) used to make Slippery (Flat) Dumplings. Imagine my surprise when I watched the DDD episode and Hob Nob Hill had Slippery Dumplings just blocks from my home! But, when I got my order, I found they were in fact the regular, southern style Drop Dumplings. Why did you change the recipe!?! Kinda false advertising. It was still comforting, if not VERY salty."

This was my grandmothers favorite place to eat. When ever income back home I grab breakfast here. The food was good but not like I remembered, tasted like there was something missing. Over all good consistent experience.

The food is excellent, the mimosas never stop flowing, and the ambiance is cozy and peaceful, making it a perfect spot for brunch. However, the service could use some improvement. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as they recently reopened with new staff. We will definitely return for the delicious comfort food and I'll keep you posted on our next experience.
