"This place holds a special place in my heart; it's part of my childhood. I have memories dating back to my 7th birthday that revolve around the incredible chicken pot pies from this charming little market. While most of their offerings are prepared foods, which I usually avoid as someone who enjoys cooking, this place is different because everything is made in-house. Honestly, I can't replicate their dishes myself. Virtually everything I've tried here has been delicious, but my personal favorites are the marinated flank steak, the chicken pot pies, and the scrapple. I still ask my mom to stock up on the pot pies and scrapple whenever she visits. In fact, I've flown home with six chicken pot pies stuffed into my carry-on bag! As a Pennsylvania native, I can confidently say this is the best scrapple I have ever tasted."

"The food and location are great, as usual however the parking in Ocoquan is hard to find! Be prepared to walk a short distance to the restaurant, but this gives you the chance to peruse the other shops and such along the road so it?s not all bad. The restaurant has limited amounts of certain foods, so if you have something in particular in mind, plan on being early! And while you?re there, try the **** Mary?s, they?re quite good. Everything we ordered was delicious and"

"The pancakes were fantastic! The strawberries were fresh, the pancakes were fluffy, and I absolutely loved the maple syrup. The burger was good, though I wouldn’t say it was the best I’ve ever had. It was still tasty, but we were surprised to find that it came with just the patty; the tomatoes and pickles were served separately, along with the fries. It seems that if you don’t order the "deluxe burger" or add extras like cheese, that’s what you get. We found the burger quite good with just a slice of tomato and ketchup, but keep in mind that if you prefer a burger with all the fixings—including veggies and fries—you should opt for the deluxe version or check the burgers listed on the right-hand side of the menu. I do need to mention that I wasn’t a big fan of the fries; they could have benefited from a little more time in the fryer. Overall, though, I’m glad I chose this diner for my American diner experience! Compared to other restaurants and diners, this one was definitely on the more affordable side, and I would recommend it."

"First time here and really enjoyed ourselves! Buffalo wings were DAM GOOD!!!! Waffle was good too not overpowering with toppings and strawberries were FRESH! Caesar salad was large but very fresh and tasty! Everything was fresh. Waiters were very friendlyand helpful. We kind of stumbled into the lady who served us because the first waiter may not have wanted to. It worked outbecause our waiter was good and very attentive. Lastly I was not paying attention when paying my bill by card and intended onleaving a 10.00 tip but it totaled 16. The employee who rang us up immediately came into the parking lot searching for us. Notknowing why she was outside I honked and yes she wanted to alert me that I left a larger tip than I may have thought. I askedthe lady to leave it alone and give the waiter the entire tip. I truly appreciate the honesty and professionalism beyond wordsand would definitely recommend this place for good food and honest service!"

"This is an excellent breakfast spot! I had a fantastic meal here; the food was hot and fresh. I ordered the classic breakfast, which included eggs, ham, and a generous portion of French toast. The French toast was massive, and my eggs were cooked to perfection—I ordered them over medium. The service was friendly, and our food arrived quickly despite the restaurant being busy. The coffee was also impressive—strong and flavorful. Everyone in my group enjoyed their breakfast, and I would definitely recommend this place. The prices were somewhat high, ranging from $15 to $20 for most meals."

"Our family ordered a TGTG bag and 2 extra donuts for our child. The chocolate dipped red velvet donut is hands down the best donut any of us have ever had. The exterior is a firm layer of chocolate, while the inside is soft and buttery red velvet. This donut is a must-try. We have tried everything on the menu and I noticed they now have a new chorizo burrito that sounds delicious! Stop reading this review and go get yourself a donut already!"

"Fantastic breakfast spot! I can't comment on the rest of the menu since we always come here for breakfast, but the service is exceptional and their breakfast deals are unbeatable. I always order the same meal because it's delicious and an incredible value! My husband has tried several different items, particularly loves their omelets, and everything we've had is excellent. This is our favorite place to go for breakfast, and we haven't discovered any local alternatives that come anywhere close!"

"I received a couple of Panera gift cards for Christmas and decided to treat myself to lunch yesterday. I usually go for the "pick 2" option, and this time I chose the creamy tomato soup and a half sandwich with turkey, avocado, and bacon. I actually thought the turkey item would be a salad, so I was a bit disappointed when my order arrived. However, not wanting to change anything, I accepted the order as it was. Let me tell you, that turkey avocado sandwich was incredible! I ended up very pleased with my slight misunderstanding and thoroughly enjoyed my relaxing lunch."

"We made advance reservations to have brunch at this beautiful restaurant in the Georgetown neighborhood. Make sure to book early! We were seated rather promptly but server took a while to show up at our table. We did not wait and got started at the buffet. The spread is amazing and make sure to pace yourself as you collect your food. I loved the fried chicken, the amazing artichoke and crab dip, their breakfast items, pulled pork, prime rib and ham, as well as the lovely spread of desserts! They came around with fried coconut shrimp and sushi. You can also request it if you don't see the server around. The hot chocolate was supposedly very good, according to the kiddos. I did not post any food photos because, there are way too many on their review site. Would definitely visit again!"

"I'm still mystified how this place exists. It's the same thing as to how or why Chipotle still exists. Or how Olive garden not only calls itself a restaurant which it isn't and then has the audacity to call itself Italian which it's not even close to. Americans will eat virtually anything if you can sell it to him correctly. Whatever niche Panera bread has in the American Psyche is astounding, and that they actually can get people to walk into this place. WV"
"Loved my Caesar salad and fontago chick sand! But most of all, manager Adam (name on the receipt, definitely a manager at the register), was....awesome! Both Carmen and I left our wallets at home and had no cash stashed in the car All we had was a $15 Panara gift card, our bill $25.07. After my search in the car, I returned and said we need to cancel our order, Carmen said lets just get the salads, Adam.....he threw in the $10, saying he knew we were long time Panara Bread customers, he had it We will pass on the kindness! #adamPanaramade my day"

"This was our first time eating Firestone 's. We chose to go there because our two go-to restaurants were closed after the holidays. I ordered their French onion soup. My wife ordered the cheeseburger. The food came fairly quickly. The soup looked good and the portion was what I expected for a lunch soup. I 8Unfortunately that is where the good ends. I took only one bite of it because it was so extremely SWEET. I have had many bowls of French onion soup but never have I had a bowl that was sweet. My wife tasted it too and was shocked by how sweet it was. Her burger was large and quite rare inside. She prefers rare, generally, but this was almost too rare for her. She had asked for medium rare. This was almost cool in the middle. She had French fries, which were dark and quite mushy. I don 't mind that she does so I had her French fries for lunch. The waiter didn 't come back to check on us until my wife had eaten most of her burger but not the middle rarest bit . It was at least 15 minutes. He asked how our food was and I told him that I did not care for the soup, explaining that I found it to be extremely sweet. He said that of course it was was sweet, it was made with Vidalia onions and brown sugar ?! . He did not apologize or say anything like I 'm sorry you didn 't care for it, . They did remove its from our bill, at least. With regard to the ambiance of the place: it was quite loud, but we expected that, at least."

"I have enjoyed the food and cocktails in the past at Room 38, but be aware they do not honor Open Table reservations. On the morning of Oct 31,2016 I made a dinner reservation for November 11 for 6:45. Later that day, Oct 31, I changed the time to 7:00. I have confirmation emails confirming. My group arrived at 7, to be told they did not have that reservation noted. After showing my email confirmation, was then told my reservation was for 5:00. I'm not sure how the reservation is entered in their system, but there was no way I made the reservation for 5:00 because I was attending an event at 5:30, prior to dinner. I was asked if I made the reservation on Open Table and the staff just shrugged when I said yes, after showing my email confirmation. If they do not honor the reservation, they should opt out of Open Table. They were unable to seat us, so we went to 44 Canteen and had a lovely dinner, after a bit of a wait."

"I hate to say it, but Panera has gone downhill. It used to be a wonderful place for delicious fresh sandwiches, soups, salads and quiet conversation. If you don't like Poultry, there are limited choices now. They removed their delicious Asiago Beef sandwich. They added pizza joint stuff and now instead of the wonderful smell of bread and fresh cut veggies that greeted you, it is replaced with run of the mill pizza joint smell. I wish places that had a wonderful menu would trust it for what it is. and leave it alone."

"This cafeteria is attempting to pass as a fancy restaurant. It may be fine for breakfast or a soup/sandwich during the day, but charging $40-60 for dinner entrees and serving cafeteria-style food is unacceptable. The service was just as disappointing. Our server only took our order and brought us the bill; we never saw her otherwise, with a busboy delivering our food. When we complained about the poor quality of the food, the manager brushed it off, saying it tasted fine to him. If you're looking to spend more than $50 on an entree, there are definitely better options out there."

"They have pretty good buffet. But this last time (July 2024) the roast beef and chicken was just with a funny taste. The grease in some of it was just weird. It has been better but this last time. Me and my friend just wasn't all that thrilled. It was his first time, he liked some of it but he said he wouldn't go back. Our server was good she even got my fruit cuz the fruit on the buffet had pineapple in and I am not allowed that, so I did appreciate that. But was disappointed this time with their food. Alot of it had a weird after taste to it. I don't know if I will go back there based on this. I was not feeling well all nite after we ate there on the 20th of July. And their selection could be a bit better. I always like their rolls though."

"I’ve been coming here A LOT with my granddaughter lately. We LOVE the food so much! As I’m writing this, me and my granddaughter are going out shopping again today, and we might just come here for lunch again. I usually order their French Onion Soup, or their Greek salad. THE SOUP IS AMAZING!!! Their Greek salad is also very good as well. My granddaughter usually gets the tomato soup and grilled cheese and she is just obsessed with it. While I really love it here, there are some things that could be better. Sometimes, the line takes FOREVER. The line gets so long sometimes and it is very, very slow. 2 weeks ago I was coming here on my own and I waited 20 minutes in the line until I just had to leave because I moved up ONE space in that 20 minutes. There were 9 cars ahead of me. But I do understand why it takes so long sometimes, I understand that with COVID-19 that this place is probably short staffed. That’s ok. Honestly, that’s the only complaint I have! I just really wish they served breakfast all day, or at least until 2 PM. Their breakfast sandwiches are so good, especially the egg and cheese on brioche. Overall, this place is seriously good. I recommend it absolutely!"
