"The menu was filled with tempting options, but I decided to go with the bangers and mash. This dish also comes with cabbage cooked with bacon, and all I can say is WOW. Each bite was superb and made me eager for the next. I haven't enjoyed a meal like this in ages! I learned that they have their bangers specially made for the pub, and the mashed potatoes with gravy were perfect. The cabbage was soft and flavorful, making everything pair beautifully together.
Normally, I don’t finish my plate, but this time I did, leaving me feeling full and satisfied. It turns out everything they serve is made from scratch! For dessert, I tried the "plum duff," which is a type of bread pudding made from donuts. I believe they use Myers rum in this dish, and once again, I was not disappointed. It was another incredible dish that I devoured, probably eating more than I should have, but it was absolutely worth it.
I’m really looking forward to returning and trying more items from their menu. It's a good thing I don’t live nearby, or I could easily see myself spending a lot of my free time there. And I can't forget to mention Chef Bill—well done, sir! Well done!"
