"The aromas both inside and outside the restaurant were very inviting. The hosts and server greeted us warmly, and our drinks arrived promptly, setting a positive tone for our experience. Unfortunately, that was where the good times ended for the most part. Almost all the food arrived at once—soup, wings, salad, and two entrees—except for the hot dog I ordered for my 1-year-old daughter, which took an additional ten minutes to arrive.
The dill wings were meant to be extra crispy, but they fell short in that department. On the plus side, the flavor and blue cheese dressing were enjoyable. However, the lobster bisque was overwhelmed by an excessive amount of Old Bay seasoning, which really detracted from its taste.
On a more positive note, the breaded fish fry was crispy and quite delicious, and the seafood pasta was excellent. When I shared my concerns with our waitress, she offered to bring out a fresh batch of wings and suggested removing some of the seasoning from the bisque. Unfortunately, that was the extent of the resolution we received.
I would consider giving the restaurant a second chance if I'm in the area again, but I won't be in a hurry to return."
