"This place was the whole southern experience! So welcoming, warm and an all round wonderful experience. Our bartenders Ellie and Courtney created crafted cocktails that were the most delicious cocktails that they matched/rivaled some of the fanciest establishments we’ve ever been to, (and we’re older, so we’ve been to a lot of different restaurants in our lives). The prices were a treat as well, made us happy to leave a bigger tip. The atmosphere is exactly what a tavern is, wood everywhere yet with an edgy sense of whimsy. The food is fun, specialty hot dogs served in baskets are their claim of greatness, but we ordered an artisan style pizza, which was made to order with a lovely thin crust and was delicious. But whoever does the hiring of workers has done an exceptional job of finding the best in exhibiting southern hospitality and crafting incredible drinks ?. I just wish this place could be in my hometown. The patrons were so friendly too, we enjoyed memorable conversations with many. It was a favorite stop."
