"I went through their website and submitted a request for a custom cake approximately Nov. 24, 2022. On their website it states an associate would county me within 3-5 business days which never came into fruition. I called on the fort worth location where I requested to have the cake made on approximately December 2nd. The male associate who answered the phone stated that my request had been received but they had not a chance to call me. Red Flag number one! I inquired if the cake could be made with raisins which I was told no but I could bring raisins for the cake I was ordering to be placed between the layers. I did forget to drop off the raisins for the cake but was never contacted to see if I wanted to proceed with the cake. I came into the shop today and was informed that no cake was made because I did not drop off the raisins nor pay for the cake. When speaking with the male associate prepayment was not stated. Red Flag 2. The cake decorator who informed me that Unrefined Bakery never made the cake but offered cupcakes. The cupcakes I paid for were frozen and she did not provide instructions written nor verbal how to defrost the items so I could serve them. I returned to the store and was told by the cake decorator that the cupcakes, carrot cake with dairy cream cheese frosting could be left on the counter for up to two days and they should be okay since that is what is done in-store. I am not sure if your. company cares about your customers health but leaving anything without refrigeration can cause serious bacteria overgrowth. I will definitely never buy any cakes or anything from Unrefinrd Bakery again.I used to be a long time customer but that definitely stopped today."

"I’ve passed this place for over a decade without ever thinking about stopping in even though I work just a few blocks away. From the outside, it just never really struck me as the kind of place I needed or even wanted to enter, but earlier this week, I got a craving that could only be satisfied by a chili dog or a Hawaiian vacation. Due to lack of funds, I chose the chili dog route. The building is very unassuming and is empty any time I drive by after 3:30 so I wondered on the walk there if it would be open or even still in business, but lucky me... it was 3:15 and barely still open. I knew what I wanted (CHILI DOG and noticed a couple variations, including one called a “hangover dog” which basically just adds jalapeños (the LAST thing I crave when I’m hungover . ANYWAY... the place is old but immaculate, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the chili dog kicked a !! As shown in the photo I took, a random ray of sun poked perfectly through the clouds and the window to shine right on the center of it just before my first bite. (Disclaimer: Wonder Burger is not officially endorsed or blessed by your favorite supreme being. OK, OK, I’m getting carried away here, but seriously... I’m sooo glad I went and will definitely be back. If you’re in the area and are craving some really awesome food hot off a greasy grill, give them a try. You might be disappointed, but then again, you might also be a butthead. Hahaha! JK ;"

"Some of these low reviews crack me up lol but maybe they improved because I had a GREAT experience. I am so glad I went. My cousin from Canada will call me up when she is in LA and we get to experience a local (black owned soul food if we can) cuisine together. This time it was flavor table and the food was solid! We were attended to right away and when seated our waiter Willie had all the energy and got our drinks right away. We ordered our food and it didn't take too long but everything was piping hot, I love this. I would prefer fresh hot food vs warm food because I'll just send it back to get heated up. I ordered the wings combo and the peace cobbler French toast. Fire! The wing (asked for them to be fried hard) came out perfect and delicious. Wings were juicy. The peach cobbler sauce was perfect not too sweet and just right to pour over the French toast. I love that it comes in a bowl so I am in control of how I want to dress up my French toast. This is a solid establishment and all the waiters paid attention but wasn't in my face every second which was great. Oh yeah they forgot our waters and Willie was occupied so the gentleman that seated us was right there so I asked him for our water and he was super apologetic and got us 3 waters right away. Lovely service/staff and nice atmosphere. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3"
