"A grown up place to eat classic fare prepared and served with the utmost professionalism. When you have grown tired of the hype surrounding the latest and shiniest new restaurant in town that will only be open a couple of years, come to Grant Grill to get food and service that sets a strong standard by which to judge other places. I would not recommend this restaurant for people who want the latest, flashiest flavor of the month. Citrus and beet salad was just singing. Still thinking about that one. Grilled octopus was just smoky enough and served with a dollop of sturgeon caviar. Yum! Scallops are so good it will remind you why you like eating scallops. I loved the risotto entree. Tonight we stayed away from beef and pork, but I'm sure I'll get to those one day."

"Beautiful oceanfront and beach view through the large glass windows. The Seafood Pasta was very tasty and we both enjoyed how fresh it was. The fish taco was ok, a bit on the dry side. Service was fairly quick at noon on the weekdays. Free soda refills. The atmosphere was nice. Valet parking only at restaurant. Paid street parking and paid beach parking lot next to restaurant are also an option for bigger vehicles like SUV and RVs. Bar service inside. Restrooms are clean."

"GLUTEN FREE DO NOT GO HERE!!!! (Long story short, just stick to the salad or find a different restaurant) I just ate at this restaurant last night (8/28/24) and asked for a gluten free menu, the waitress was super nice and handed me her phone with the online version since they did not have a hard copy. The menu clearly said at the top “gluten sensitive” which was fine for me because I’m usually fine with cross contamination. I asked for the penne pasta with just some red sauce and it was delicious! After my first bite I felt something was off and had a feeling I should’ve stuck to the salad… I really wanted to double check and ask if it was the correct noodles because it really tasted different from my regular gluten free pasta. However I did not want to insult the waitress and make it seem like I did not trust her word so I ate about half of it. About 2 hours later I get back to our hotel and was throwing up consistently for over 3 HOURS!!! The restaurant and service was amazing I just hope to warn a fellow gluten allergy person so they don’t have to find out the hard way!"

"The pizza was soggy and unappetizing. The wait for our food was absurd, especially since we only ordered three items. Almost everyone who arrived after us received their meals long before we did; some diners had already finished and were leaving by the time ours finally arrived. This place is also significantly overpriced. You could overhear the kitchen staff behaving unprofessionally. We waited 20 to 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged that we were waiting to be seated, and it took another customer going into the kitchen to inform them about us. On a brighter note, our waitress was exceptional—she deserves five stars, while the kitchen earns just one."

"We've been visiting Primo Pizza since we moved to Barrington seven years ago, and we usually order the Italian Flag pizza. It's our favorite! Tonight, we decided to add sausage and requested it to be well done. The crust was absolutely perfect, and it was, without a doubt, the best pizza we've ever had from Primo Pizza! Thank you!"
