"My spouse and I enjoy watching music videos while dining at this restaurant! The food is delicious, the beer selection is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. We have always received great service every time (except for one instance). Just be aware that they do not play the music audio when a local sports game is on; we have learned to avoid coming during these events. We would prefer if they continued playing the music since it is difficult to hear the sports announcers clearly in this setting anyway."

"I was excited to try Rock Brews for the first time for KC Restaurant week, that quickly changed after arriving. I’m not sure what this was about but when I walked in the guy Dan who would end up being our server was standing behind the bar talking to another employee. He looked right at me but did not come over to greet me until another group walked in, I was standing there at least 2 minutes alone. He walked up and continued to act like he didn’t notice I was standing there before the group after me walked in and asked them how many were in their party. We all told him I had been waiting already as if he didn’t know. The rest of my party showed so we were seated and Dan served us if you can call it that. He was short and rude, seemed a little off honestly. He was not at all attentive to our table and seemed to be put off when we asked questions about the menu or other things we needed. At the table he also seemed to continue to ignore me specifically just as he had done when I was waiting at the hostess stand so I still have no idea what that was about, I can speculate though. The food was good but I don’t think I will be back due to the poor service I received."

"This place clearly has the ability to be great and we wanted to love it, but the food and overall experience was just Meh.... Service was slow and it took a while to get our food. They must have been short staffed and needed to buss tables but no one was around to do so. Fries and appetizers were the best part but the burger was not as good as we were expecting based on other reviews. Also, my daughter ordered a BLT with no avocado due to an allergy and it took three times for them to finally get it correct and the rest of us were finished by the time she finally got her food. They did give us a free dessert due to the error but unfortunately the bread pudding came out cold and not prepared properly. However, at this point, we weren't going to say another word ? I am going to give the benefit of the doubt and chalk this experience up to the restaurant having a bad night. Hopefully if we go back it will be a better experience."

"To make matters worse, one of our party ordered a pulled pork sandwich only to find a shrimp in it by accident! It was quite a gag-inducing surprise and definitely not something you expect in a BBQ pork sandwich. We were lucky he wasn't allergic to shrimp. The manager did offer us a free dessert for the seven of us to share, but that didn't really make up for the experience. With a bill of $275, it just wasn't worth it. As far as we're concerned, this place is off our list now. The waiter was doing his best, but it was clear they were short-staffed. What happened to you, Paul, Gene, and Alice? Your restaurant used to be great, but now it just feels sad."
