"She continued to argue, so I decided I would just pay for my drink and leave. I had only one glass of wine, which had fruit in it, so it couldn't possibly be just 3 ounces. The server took my glass, gave me another one, and said I needed to pay for both! I felt so embarrassed and overwhelmed that I left the restaurant. I explained to the hostess why I was leaving, but then the server and another waitress approached me, and the server started recording me on her phone! She filmed my car and me, claiming she would call the police because I had been drinking—over one tiny wine glass! Then she called me a "Karen," which is incredibly offensive. I am of Spanish and Native Indian descent!
I asked her repeatedly to stop recording and suggested that if I paid for my drink, she should delete the video. They agreed but never deleted it; she went into the kitchen and saved it on her phone! After that, she came back out and, while I was inside, she pushed me with her arm and shoved the phone in my face, almost knocking me over! The manager told me I didn’t have to pay due to the incident and just to leave, but when I pointed out that he saw her assault me, he acted like he didn’t understand English. He said, “Yes, we have cameras; just go.” The server was upset that he said I could leave without paying.
The loud music was also unbearable, and it all gave me a headache! The food and service were horrible, and I will never return! I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone! Regardless of the music, the way I was treated was completely unacceptable. If I didn’t have small children with me, things could have turned out very differently. I can’t believe I was assaulted simply for asking for a different dish! What happened to the idea that the customer is always right? The staff was incredibly rude, and I strongly advise against dining here!"
