"This is the second time I call and place an order. Wait half an hour and show up. They never made the pizzas ! I Never got a call back from the store manager or corporate headquarters either time. Bad service, bad company. Atleat that's the way it is at the defiance location. They do not care about the customer when it comes to quality and service. I go here all the time and order lighter sauce on my pizza everywhere I go and today she tells me That?s a custom pizza I asked how because all I?m asking for is lighter sauce on the pizza she said it?ll be and extra 2$ how if I?m using less ingredients!!! This makes no sense the girl tried to argue about it with me and to me it seems like their gonna do something to my food because I already paid for it. "They changed the recipe for the spaghetti. It used to be the best anywhere around. The last couple of times I ordered I Noticed it was spicy hot. I finally called to ask if they changed the recipe. I was told that they did change the recipe. I told them they made a big mistake. I will not be getting the spaghetti anymore. At 70 years old my body cannot take the spicy food. Why would you make spaghetti sauce Spicy HOT??? In all the places I have eaten at they are the first that had spicy Italian food."

"I was really excited about this place nd they didnt disappoint! Service was good, food was delicious with exception of flat soda, bathroom needs work, location nd parking was ok as well BUT I did not like the 20% automatic gratuity. It is not posted anywhere I checked. I also think it 's weird that there is a card charge even if you pay with cash. I don 't understand that at all. I don 't care how good the food was I probably will not go back because of that. My family of 4 arrived at 1212 on a Thursday, got seated at 1247 nd once we received our food maybe 5 mins into eating a busser asked if we needed boxes because he was cleaning the area.... rude to say the least."

"The manager was extremely rude when I asked for more marinara sauce, which barely filled the container to a third. I don't understand why they use such a large container if they're only going to fill it partially. I never even asked to pay for an extra sauce; I was simply told that I couldn’t have more. "Vs NYC, I'd rate it a 6.5 for Chicago I'll give it an 8.5 ... It was definitely enjoyable but I feel Chicago needs to change it's dough if it truly wants to ever compete with NYC. The cracker crust that Chicago loves was done in a way that was at least enjoyable on this pie, most places have dry gold fish cracker crust, this pie was enjoyable. Would I get it again? Unless a genuine Brooklyn spot moves into town, yes I would. The price was reasonable too. I will say this, the sauce was a top 5 for me and that's including vs NYC sauces , it was salty, had bold tomato taste, and was unique."

"Two straight times ordering from here where they messed up our order. First time the delivery driver forgot the salad. Instead of going back to get it, they said we could either get cash back or we 'd have to drive there and get it. The second time we ordered boneless wings. They brought the order out and I knew right away they had bones. Called them out on it and the cashier said yup they 're boneless while looking straight at the bone in wings. Took the meal back to the car, checked it, and they were bone in. They made good on the error but I watched the error unfold right in front of me. It was a small spot, just enough space for a pickup pizza place but not really much seating to eat in. The pizza looked delicious and was nice and hot.
