"This was my second time coming here and it was better than the first. I'll start by saying that each time I've been here the service was great. The people that work here seem to be amazing and do a great job taking care of customers. I think people typically take a 3 star as being negative but I don't look at it that way and if it were possible I'd give it 3.5 stars. The reason for my rating is the food. They have a great selection of items but nothing that I've had so far has wowed me. I got the machaca omelet and it was better than the pancakes I had during my previous visit, which to be fair was years ago. Personally I think the food is decent but the price point is a little high in comparison to the food taste."

"Went here because I wanted seafood (well, scallops specifically) and it was rated so high on Google. We almost didn 't go in because there was a line for lunch on Saturday at 1pm. But, we decided to wait and glad we did. The line moved quickly and itwas shaded. Service was quick even though the server immediately told us it would be a minute before she got to us. It wasn 'tthat long at all. I had the pick two seafood platter, got broiled flounder and scallops. My boyfriend got the fried flounderfilet. Kids got seafood platters and chicken tenders. I got the large platter so I would have leftovers for dinner. Everythingwas great! I believe it was one of the owners that came around and asked if everything was good and pointed out the homemadetarter and cocktail sauces on the table. I tried both and they were great. The place has a diner feel and website says theyhave been around since 1948 and family owned. You can feel this vibe here, and everyone was super friendly. The place was packedthe whole time we were there! The line had dissapated by the time we left but that 's probably because they close at 2:30 andreopen for dinner at 4:30. Glad we decided to stop here and would recommend this place if you are looking for a low key placewith seafood and options for people who don 't like seafood."

"Amazing place for breakfast! We were in town for the weekend and we love seeking out local small run dinners to eat at. I am so glad we chose Dee's. We were seated promptly even though the parking lot was full (thought for sure there would be a wait) Were served our beverages quickly and our waitress took our orders promptly. She was attentive in keeping our coffee and waters filled. My husband got Stan's Hash and a piece of their French Toast. He loved the mix in Stan's Hash and the French toast was excellent , the edges are a little dry, but the center is soft and tasty. I got their Diablos Hash with the hashbrowns on the side and OMG .. I have never had anything like it! Lots of flavor and med heat jalapeños.. cheese was melted to perfection and the dressing on top was so flavorful, it really made the dish. Get up early and visit this amazing small town diner, you won't regret it!"

"We found Mason?s Restaurant Grocery in Aberdeen and we are so glad that we did. What a great spot. Breakfast was terrific and now our new go to place! There was a 20 min wait, always a good sign, and they called us on the cell when our table was ready. Tina was our server and she was terrific. She pointed out the most popular dishes, The Train Wreck, The Truck Stop, and conveyed the specials for the day. We had an excellent meal. The food was seasoned, the chicken was tender, the bacon smoked and flavorful, and the Harissa pork special was nice and spicy. It was quite the treat seeing Brian Hainley there having breakfast too. Tables were turned quickly and professionally, and did not interfere with our meal and conversation. The menu is easy to navigate, with breakfast and lunch items available all day. The drink menu/bar offerings were plentiful with daily specials. The place is popular for a reason and we will be back."

"I called to inquire about the price and size of the biscuits and gravy, and the woman responded in a sarcastic tone saying they were only available in a regular size. I decided not to place an order and took my business to another restaurant. I don't want to support a business where the staff is rude to customers, even over the phone."

"The interior of the small restaurant was cluttered with plates and serving bowls, giving the impression of a rummage sale. We were informed that they were out of noodles and pineapple, limiting our menu options. The elderly gentleman serving us, who we later learned was Linda's husband, struggled to answer our questions about the menu. My wife ordered pork fried rice, which lacked flavor and variety. I opted for the Thai basil pork dish, which was surprisingly tasty. Service was slow as Linda's daughter was the only person in the kitchen. She had relocated from Portland to help her mother during her illness and was now managing the restaurant alone while also working a full-time job. In a Facebook post, she expressed the challenges of balancing the demands of the business and the grief of losing her mother. She mentioned struggling with customers placing takeout orders ahead of those dining in, as well as the pressure of keeping the business afloat until it could be sold. It is a difficult situation for the daughter and her father, and I can only hope that patrons show patience and compassion towards a grieving family trying to keep the restaurant running."

"This is a fantastic dinner spot that brings to mind the TV show Cheers, where everyone knows your name. The food is of excellent quality. The only thing I wish is that they would stay open until 7 PM an extra two days a week. I highly recommend it!"

"Ate there tonight and we frequently eat there once a week. Plenty of staff who were not attentive to customers coming in. We actually saw a couple come in and set for about 15 minutes with no waitstaff addressing them. Needless to say they got up and left. Mine you we saw 3 waiters in the facility only 3 tablets with customer already being served or eating. My husband got a vegetable plate that was Luke warm at best and the pinto beans tasted like they were scorched . My meal and sons meal was good! When I went to front desk to pay the cashier was setting in corner on her cell phone texting. I had to call her to come to desk to take my money. This lady also should have seen the couple that left without being served . Staff not attentive to customers needs. This place is going south quickly."

"This place is truly an authentic country café! The menu features wholesome, down-home meals that are both delicious and satisfying. When I arrived, the restaurant was packed, but my salad was served shortly after I placed my order. To my surprise, the hot beef sandwich came out almost as quickly as a fast-food drive-thru! The apple pie was just like my grandmother's, with a flaky crust and generously filled to two inches thick! The waitstaff were courteous and extremely friendly. This is a hidden gem that anyone visiting the Grand Lake area should definitely take the time to experience! (I apologize for the messy plate; I snapped the photo after devouring half my meal, lol. I was so full that I had to take the pie to go!)"

"What a fantastic stop on our journey from the Oregon coast to Portland! The bakery offered the most delicious breakfast sandwiches on an English muffin, or, as my husband chose, a tall and fluffy biscuit. I opted for the bear claw, and both were fresh and flavorful. We spent a few minutes watching the bakers at work, and it was clear they take great pride in what they do! The total bill came to just $4.75, and we were amazed by the quality, portion sizes, and value! Definitely make a stop at the store and turn left to find this charming bakery."
