"Went here because I wanted seafood (well, scallops specifically) and it was rated so high on Google. We almost didn 't go in because there was a line for lunch on Saturday at 1pm. But, we decided to wait and glad we did. The line moved quickly and itwas shaded. Service was quick even though the server immediately told us it would be a minute before she got to us. It wasn 'tthat long at all. I had the pick two seafood platter, got broiled flounder and scallops. My boyfriend got the fried flounderfilet. Kids got seafood platters and chicken tenders. I got the large platter so I would have leftovers for dinner. Everythingwas great! I believe it was one of the owners that came around and asked if everything was good and pointed out the homemadetarter and cocktail sauces on the table. I tried both and they were great. The place has a diner feel and website says theyhave been around since 1948 and family owned. You can feel this vibe here, and everyone was super friendly. The place was packedthe whole time we were there! The line had dissapated by the time we left but that 's probably because they close at 2:30 andreopen for dinner at 4:30. Glad we decided to stop here and would recommend this place if you are looking for a low key placewith seafood and options for people who don 't like seafood."

Love this place, it's an absolute must if you're visiting. I've lived here almost 10 years and God every chance I get. Amazing food, real southern cooking, for a fair and reasonable price. The service is unparalleled, feels like going to mamaws house to eat and being with family.

Fantastic local seafood restaurant w great prices and very friendly service! Blackened Grouper was amazing ! LG flounder plate was huge ! 4/5 pieces of lightly breaded flounder. Scallop sandwich was also very good w at least 5 large scallops on it cooked perfectly. If your in Myrtle beach you gotta try this place .

A great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. When in North Myrtle Beach, look for the golf carts. There is usually a line to get in (which is a sign of a good restaurant). The line moves quickly. The friendly and knowledgeable staff can helpprovide helpful ordering tips. We went for breakfast and the quality of food was great. The amount of food was more thanexpected. We fancied something different for dinner. We decided to give this place a try. Nothing fancy to look at, but the food and service was fantastic. I had the shrimp and grits and it was superb. I am fussy about grits, and these were top class. Hot food served on a hot plate, what a concept. Major restaurants should take note. My wife had the chicken tenders and they were delicious. Piping hot and cooked to perfection. The prices are very reasonable, and on a Tuesday night, it seemed to be the only Main Street eatery doing a roaring trade.

This is a GREAT local spot that we frequent whenever we're in Myrtle Beach. The food is great and reasonably priced, and the staff is very friendly. There is a caveat, however. This is not a tourist spot, and it's full of locals, most of whom are elderly. So, if you're an interracial couple, you may get looked at like you're an extraterrestrial, lol.. We've been to this place every year for 4 years (and I used to come with my family every year when I was a child in the 90s) and it's been varying degrees of awkward.
