"Went for their Anniversary All You Can Eat today and put our name in at 2:44pm for the sushi bar. They read me my phone number back correctly. They told us a 45 min wait. After walking around the shopping center, We ended up checking in after about an hour to see where we were on the list, and they told us we were next, but the last people sat down just 30 minutes ago and will probably be 30min until we were seated, okay, fine. We checked in about 45 minutes later and was told we were next and our seats were ready, but they needed clearing and to wait 15 minutes. We waited and trusted since we had already bothered them about our seats twice. We checked in about 40 minutes later to see what happened and they told us they called me 30 minutes ago and I didn't respond. After showing the hostess my phone and that she did not call me, I asked what number she did call. They read the phone number back incorrectly even though it was written down and read back correctly the first time with her present. We waited 2.5 hours to not even be able to be seated and the hostess did not even apologize for the mistake. I honestly am not sure I will ever eat in at this location again after the service we received today."

"If I could do negative Stars I would. It was the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. The bartender was absolutely disrespectful and rude. Those might be the same things but I will never go back. The food was absolutely atrocious. I ordered the teriyaki chicken. And they gave me rice. The chicken was not even cooked. I will never order food from this establishment again. Hopefully this gets into the right hands because this place is ridiculous. "We have been loyal customers of Trappers since it was known as Sushi Town, so we have been visiting for many years. During our recent visit, we found the service and atmosphere to be excellent, but the quality of the food was not as good as we have experienced in the past. In particular, the rice was under cooked. This was the first time in over 20 years that we have encountered an issue with our meal. We will still return in the future, but perhaps we will choose a different location next time."

"Usually pretty good sushi. The prices have really inflated though, these past couple of years. They are seriously going to end up pricing their customers out. They went from a place we ate at monthly, to only every few months, bc it has become so expensive. I realize the pandemic hit restaurants hard, but feels like they took advantage of this public understanding. This is Kent, not Seattle! Id rather trek to another city, to get slightly better sushi, for comparable prices. Just sayin!"

"Surprisingly roomy from viewing it on the streets. This restaurant has a nice vibe. We opted in for the lunch buffet which mainly comes with rolls that are not raw. Most of them are cooked or fried which is odd that there couldn't be more raw sushi rolls as the option. We got a good amount of food and definitely got a large return on our investment. The food was delicious however there was a discrepancy that original sushi chef had to take a 15 minute break which left us idle with nothing to eat because our next chef didn't introduce himself to us and proceeded to make to go orders until I had to talk to him about it and he proceeded to make our food. But like I said the food was appetizing. But one rule stood out as not that great which was the rainbow roll. It really felt like they skimped out on the raw fish and instead gave a huge amount of imitation crab in the center. But definitely want to come to the dinner buffet sometime soon. I'm hoping that it will be much more worth it."

"On a weekday of Trapper stopped for a team dinner reservation. We were a party of about 12 and we were sitting right away. We ordered the shrimp tempura, veggie tempura and fried Calamari for starters and ordered the Trump, Samantha, Rock Roll, Phoenix and a few veggie roles, of which I remember Cryssi. From all the roles we had here, the BEST was the veggie roll Cryssi. It was great and had amazing aromas. Imagine coming into a sushi restaurant want to eat some good fish and tie the Veggie sushi roll? Does volume really sound? I have sincerely none of the roles except the Trump who was okish good, and the Veggie rolled Cryssi the best we had this night. The shrimp empura was amazing and the shrimps melt in my mouth it was so delicious. The rest of the rolls did not taste fresh, the sauce gave no taste and they were all so meh. The fried Calamari was fine and the veggie tempura lacked spices. We also ordered many drinks and the drinks were too sweet and didn't taste alcoholics. That was okay. Service was super slow. We went in at 4:45, and went out at 7:20, and consumed this whole time for 30 45 minutes, while the rest waited for our food. All in all I had much better sushi otherwise where and I would not recommend this place. I had a terrible experience and the same was shared by my colleagues."

"we really enjoyed our visit – great service and excellent eating! the tempura shishito paprika — yum! the slender roll and slender rolls were also delicious. I was skeptical about a chain, but was pleasantly surprised and would definitely recommend."
