"Service was great at first. The bartender was awesome and took great care of us while we waited for space at the All You Can Eat. The sushi chef was funny and entertaining, he introduced his specialty roll which was delicious. He did get behind a few times with orders because he had a hard time chatting and making rolls you could tell the waitress were getting a little annoyed with him. They didn't keep their masks completely covering their faces at all times and it made me a little nervous and the sushi chef told us he had had COVID and still couldn't taste. The bartender turned us over to a waitress who was supposed to check on us but no one ever checked on us during our time at the all you can eat bar. We had to wait for a good mins for us to get our bill so we could leave...everyone was too busy to pay attention to us and when we finally did get someone to pay attention she blamed it on the bartender and said that she was supposed to take care of us even though the bartender was supposed to leave a couple of hours before we left (the bartender was still on site helping with things because it was so busy but she technically had passed us on to Casey the waitress). Because of the confusion, lack of attention and not able to handle the stress of being busy...that's why I rated them low. It would have been higher if someone had taken care of us after the bartender passed us on and we didn't have to wait forever for our check to come. The sushi chef even asked if we are just hanging out or waiting to pay...we told him we were waiting for our bill but nothing happened after that."

Pretty fair sushi. Very dry rice. Try Mizu for sushi. They’re much better. Very good service.

Food was good as normal and service was very good. Nice to see restaurant getting back to normal with table service. Can't beat their happy hour specials

Unlike some reviews, I personally believe that the portion of edamame is perfectly sufficient for a single serving. The Bonney Lake dish is fantastic, and the gyoza is also delicious. The portion sizes are very generous. View menu

This was the worst delivery ever from this store. The avocado on the rolls was black. There was no wasabi or ginger packaged with the meal. No sriracha drizzle on the Buddha roll. Complete dissapointment for a meal anticipated for a week. Ive ordered from Trappers at least adozen times this year but, after this disaster, will probably never use this vendor again.

Usually pretty good sushi. The prices have really inflated though, these past couple of years. They are seriously going to end up pricing their customers out. They went from a place we ate at monthly, to only every few months, bc it has become so expensive. I realize the pandemic hit restaurants hard, but feels like they took advantage of this public understanding. This is Kent, not Seattle! Id rather trek to another city, to get slightly better sushi, for comparable prices. Just sayin!
