"Second time I've been here, and first for my wife. I came 8.5 years ago while in Austin and had told my wife about how good it was, so when we had the opportunity to drive through Austin on our way to San Antonio, I made it a point for it to be at mealtime. We had lunch Friday 8/16/24 and it was still as good as I remembered. We split a salad and the beef and shrimp tortellini....oh, and a bread pudding. Absolutely fantastic from the moment we walked through the door to time to leave. The unsweetened tea tasted like tea, not discolored water, like some places, and the food is gourmet. I commented to the hostess that I'd been there before the pandemic and was very happy they are still open. We live in Dallas, so we don't get down this way too often, but next time we are, you better bet we'll stop in at The French Quarter Grille."
