"We ordered mussels in red sauce and fish&chips. The sauce strongly resembled a bolognese and one of the mussels was closed and its shell was broken. I had mussels here before and they were excellent. Something must have changed since last time. The chips were bland and the tartar sauce that came with the fish was very sour and inedible. The fish was okay, a bit salty. Two mains and two drinks plus tax and tips were about $80. The location and the outdoor seating are amazing, but the food does not meet expectations. I am recommending only because of the location. Maybe other menu items are better."

Lovely spot in Battery Park City. Una, the owner, is delightful. And the food is delicious, especially the grilled octopus appetizer!

bar was loud and obnoxioius. that was in order. the cloves of my wife in her seafood linguins were very boiled. decent atmosphere, but with the quality of eating and wine in comparison to the price, would probably not go there again. if it wasn't so cold, it might have been trying to sit outside to take the beautiful view for the situation. The fish stew was incredible. Only problem was the entree came before I could finish it and server seemed to care less. Service was a little stretched but that is just the way it is nowadays. For sure I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting New York and will take my wife when I go back later this summer. Note that prices on website have not been updated to reflect those on the menu. Expect slightly higher.

Miramar is one of our favorite go to restaurants in the neighborhood, especially in the summer when you can sit outside and enjoy the view, the boats, and the sunsets. The food is consistently good and the people who work there are always warm and welcoming. Last night we were there to celebrate our friend’s birthday it was his first time at Miramar but I’m pretty sure it won’t be his last. Thanks again, everybody, for another beautiful evening!

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
