"We went to Brunch on Saturday. The menu was small and I didn’t really find any of the options that appetizing. Then you had to scan the QR code on the menu for their specials which still didn’t add much to the menu. I understand that they have a more extensive menu for Sunday brunch but there should still be decent options for Saturday as well. I got the cowboy something, which was basically chilli with eggs on top, it was decent, I can’t complain about the quality of food. The worse part was the music was so loud I couldn’t hear the people at my table. It felt unnecessary for it to be that loud on a Saturday morning. The service was also just awkward, it’s hard to explain but the server just kept asking us ‘are you guys good?’, when it was obvious that we were ready for our checks or ready to order or done and needed our plates cleared . It’s just an awkward way to be asked things. Overall it was a mid experience. I wouldn’t discourage anyone from going here but I also wouldn’t suggest it."

"Was nice to visit a specialty coffee shop which isn't just about the ambience. They do some quality pour overs with some nice beans. Was worth the trek to check it out. Great staff as well. Very friendly and recommended me a very tasty pastry which I won't out since I don't want it to run out when I'm in. Ask them if you really want to know ? hope they continue to do well."

"Small and quiet restaurant... wanted to try some authentic Mexican food so pass by there.friendly server , I believe she is owner too. As didn’t have much ideas about Mexican food she recommended us some dishes. The best thing is she had vegetarian dish too as one of us is vegetarian. Hope this place will do good in future and will have more traffic. Good luck and thanks for making our time"

"I highly recommend this restaurant! When I first found it, I couldn't stay away and kept returning for more. I'm completely in love with their steak taco dinner—it's a generous portion when you eat in! Be sure to try the green salsa; it has a wonderful kick. Also, their horchata is, hands down, the best I've tasted in the city! The staff is always super friendly, too. If you're on the lookout for incredible local tacos, definitely support this place—you won't be disappointed!"

"Literally the worse tacos I've ever had in my life...and that is saying A LOT! I had carnitas. Carnitas are meant to be flavorful, tender, pulled pork. I had dry, flavorless, cubes of fat with 1/4 of chopped onions. I examined the cubes, and 60-70% was nothing but PURE FAT, not even a sign of actual meat. The guac was 65% onion, the green salsa was devoid of flavor and was a bright green color which was alarming. Atmosphere was cold and barren and rather dirty to be honest. I've been eating Mexican food for 50 years, being born in San Diego and raised in LA...but even compared to the Mexican offerings in Ireland and London where I lived for 15 years, this ranks BELOW. Don't bother. Seriously. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1"

"This is a nice restaurant overall, although I think the atmosphere could be improved—perhaps it's just my opinion. The spot is wonderful, but it's a bit small and can become crowded quickly, which might make you feel a little uncomfortable. That said, the food is fantastic, and the service is good as well. Overall, I consider this to be an excellent Mexican eatery."

"My father went to Ambriza for the first time on his birthday and we all had a fantastic experience. It was the first time we brought our kids with us and they also loved their meals. The special Margarita was delicious and the food was as tasty as always. Our favorite dishes were the street corn, azteca soup, and cucumber tomato salad. My father couldn't stop talking about how much he loved the fajitas. The music, decor, and atmosphere were all wonderful. We will definitely be going back to Ambriza in the future."

"We had a fantastic experience at Frida's, enjoying both the food and the speedy service. This was our second visit; the first time we ordered takeout, and both meals were absolutely delicious. I believe that the quality of the rice and beans in a Mexican restaurant speaks volumes, and they were spot-on here! My partner and I both opted for the combination plates from the back of the menu, which offered phenomenal value. My favorite was the carnitas, while the pork taco was also quite tasty. However, I wasn't a fan of the chicken taco, as it was a bit dry for my taste, but I might not be the best judge since I don't usually enjoy chicken. My partner had a burrito with a unique tomato sauce that seemed unusual at first but turned out to be quite good! He particularly enjoyed the ground beef taco and the black bean enchiladas. We will definitely be returning!"

"I went for lunch with coworkers and the restaurant was busy which was expected of Union Station. The inside was a little... interesting? My 2 complaints are the chairs were wobbly and it took us 20 minutes to get the check which was a bit annoying. We got a chips and guac and a Taquiza (12 tacos in the picture) containing 2 Arrachera, 1 Campechano, 3 Al Pastor, 1 Quesabirria, 1 Tinga, 1 Pescado, 1 Camaron, 2 De La Milpa. The chips and guac were fresh and home made. I thought they were both awesome and loved the thickness and crunch of the chips paired with the creamy guac. I had the Arrachera, Quesabirria, and Campechano tacos. The Arrachera and Quesabirria were average and lacked salt but the Campechano was so good! I think the chorizo in it really brought out the flavor with the saltiness. Overall I would go again and try the Al Pastor because my coworkers said those were the best they tried."

"The service was excellent, and the food was quite tasty, although a bit oily and rich. Our server was very attentive and offered useful suggestions from the menu. My wife and I tried the Alambre Mixto, the Tortilla soup, and the roasted Jalapeños, along with Jamaica water and a Tamarindo drink. Everything was good and met the quality and flavor expectations of "Kette Restaurant." My only note is that the dishes were a touch greasy, which made them linger in my stomach for a while."

"The cafeteria-style food display and the delicious aromas will transport you right back to your Abuela’s kitchen, making it hard not to order one of everything! The servers are friendly and happy to explain the various dishes, so don't hesitate to ask questions. One of the best features is that you don’t have to choose just one dish for your plate! Instead, you can select a variety of items. For example, you could enjoy a plate with Guisado de Res (savory stewed beef) alongside Pollo con Mole (chicken in mole sauce), all served with your choice of corn or flour tortillas. There’s also a separate menu for other options. On weekends, they offer Menudo, as well as chicken soup, Fideo (my personal favorite), and beef soup. The prices are quite reasonable, making it a must-try spot when you’re in Chicago! After your meal, you'll definitely want to take a nice long walk, so be sure to check out the grocery store next to the parking lot. It’s filled with a variety of goodies, meats, fresh produce, and great prices. I could easily spend an hour there just browsing through all the different spices and food delicacies—it's a treasure for food lovers!"

"This is my family's go-to Mexican restaurant! My mom and brother can't get enough of the steak fajitas. I'm a huge fan of the enchiladas. The refried beans are delightful, and the guacamole is outstanding. The queso, chips, and salsa are all top-notch as well. The quality of the food here is excellent and consistently great. I highly recommend LA Parrilla to everyone!"

"Very good soft chicken Tacos! Fresh, flavorful and ample fillings. The second menu item was delivered as a ground beef (instead of shredded beef) quesadilla with a liquid cheese sauce (not melted cheese topping). Although still a totally edible meal, just not what was ordered or expected. Nice beer selection, all drinks seen being served looked refreshing and delicious. It was very chilly inside, the outdoor temp was 37°, and inside felt like 50°. The ambiance is definitely hole in the wall , but it was clean in appearance. Seating was adequate and in good repair. Tables, booths in the back dining room,, and an 8-10 bar stool counter in front with a few tables booths in smaller front entrance dining area. The cook and waitstaff know how to hustle, food was delivered within 12 minutes of ordering. The other large customer table showed the steamy hot bowls of some soups and sides of rice that were added. It looked and smelled wonderful. Will definitely return! Small parking lot, shared with ajoining business, parking might be difficult at certain meal times."

"It was recommended to try this place for large Mexican foods, and I met a colleague for lunch. My one and only, only recommendation is to make it clearer that the Taco menu is pro Taco, which means if you want more than one, you need to be specific and say how many you want. I ordered her signature Flamingo burrito. Not the biggest I've ever seen, but it's a really good size. As I in, I quickly found it was probably the most tasteful burrito I ate. The paprika, onions, grilled chicken and CHEESE... yes CHEESE for a perfect combination. I love every bite. This place is from the beaten path in Dekalb, but, I assure you, it is worth it! I can't speak for the ice, but I'll be back to give it!"

"I came to try Fresheria for the first time on a Wednesday about 6pm. The restaurant has a nice decor, is very clean, and the service person taking my order at the counter was very friendly. The Special Torta (ham, pork, guac) and an Apple Salad were large, very fresh and tasty. The total cost with tax and $2 tip was $28.98. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to offer some spicy flavorings (e.g., a spicy mayo), as to my palate the two items seemed a bit bland. However, I was very happy with the visit, and would return to try other items on the menu. Recommended! And thanks to the owners for providing this nice restuarant."

"What a amazing hidden gem. The restaurant is located right on a main street in Philly. Its a small yet inviting restaurant. We went there for breakfast and they had a good selection of food , lunch and dinner also sounded appetizing. The food was great as well as the service. Their beverage selection is great. They service amazing traditional and Mexican style coffee. Great Mexican cuisine!"
