"My family and I have been coming to this restaurant since it first opened, and we believe the food is significantly better than that of any other Mexican restaurant in the area. The servers greet us by name and make us feel like family, creating a genuine small-town atmosphere instead of treating us as just another customer. We've tried everything on the menu, and it's all fantastic! Our favorites are the chicken and beef fajitas, enchiladas, and caldo. On weekends, they have terrace seating with live music and karaoke, which adds to the fun. We’ve hosted some parties here, and everyone had a great time. If you haven't tried this place yet, I highly recommend giving it a go!"

"We had dinner on a Sunday night, so the restaurant was pretty empty. The decor is attractive and we could hear the music in the background. I had the best mojito ever. The menu has a lot more upscale items than you would expect at a Mexican restaurant. We each had a drink, shared the best caesar salad ever and an entree each . Without the discount, including tip, we would have paid just under The entrees were not huge but delicious"

"This is a fantastic food experience and so different from traditional Mexican restaurants. Great flavor combinations. Unique tortillas and for those who don't like corn, there is a jicama tortilla option. The service unfortunately was average to poor. Although the waitress was polite, she would often walk away while we were still asking questions. She also did not check on us very often and there were less than a handful of tables being served."

"Table for 4 only had 3 chairs and they couldn’t find a fourth! We had reservations! I sat on a weird bench seat thing that was 4 inches lower than the regular chairs. The food took 50 minutes to arrive. They got three of four entrees wrong: taco salad requested beef (got chicken), chile relleno requested beef (got cheese), one entree requested no sour cream (it was covered with it). We couldn’t send it back because it was so slow we were running late for the concert. Noisy and hot inside. Worst dining experience in 20 years."

"the quality has been consistent for the past year. I read with great difficulty those who give these folks 1 to 2 stars. They all admit that they have eaten from here numerous times, but then they got ?disappointed.? ??? Mind boggling. People are justridiculous lol Anyway, here is my full 5 stars because these guys do a great job at producing what is gourmet tacos. I havetried over half their stuff. Fantastic. The tortillas never disappoint. And the sauces are on point. The fillings,flavorful. The lines are always there, evidence that great tacos are made here. I look forward to having their tacos."

"What I don't like here is the dish called nacho, they use the nachos that come in a ready-made bag when you order for delivery when it arrives the nachos are already soft ???but the classic burrito is very delicious here I recommend it"

"It's really disappointing. We had a reservation for a large group and called a few days ahead to confirm. Unfortunately, we ended up having to get our own drinks, and several of our orders were incorrect. The server was quite rude, and nothing was refilled throughout our meal. By the time my food arrived, part of our table was already packing up their leftovers. I definitely won’t be returning. The server didn't apologize at all. Overall, the service was absolutely terrible."

"that was the second time that I had been at this place in a week and I can't believe what happened to my party of four that I had a reservation on open table for. when we arrived, the hostess told us that the restaurant was very busy in this night and if it has so much to do, they did not get over the inventors on the tab. without saying, I was angry. the lady said we had to put on a waiting list. Why do they allow people to make reservations if they do not honor the reservation? we wanted the manager right away. he said he would get us a table as soon as possible and kept his word. they were really busy in this night, because we waited one night to get a waiter to take our drink orders. at least the mandant tried to make it right, but I am still affected by the reservation question."

"When we ordered our food and an appetizer, he appeared confused. He didn't ask us if we wanted drinks; instead, he suggested, "Is water okay?" We ordered a water and a soda, and when they arrived, they were in small glasses with very little ice—maybe 10 ounces total. The appetizer arrived, but the queso was very thin—possibly that’s just how they prepare it, but we didn't like it. Our main food was served without mentioning the extra item I ordered, which showed up a few minutes later. We asked the woman who brought the food for drink refills, and she didn’t seem happy about it. When we finally received our drinks, it was an awkward exchange. The waiter never came back, not even to bring the bill. I had to approach him at the bar, where he was sitting and looking at his phone. He seemed surprised and oddly asked if we wanted boxes. We requested one, and he reached behind something to grab two instead. When I handed him my card, he looked puzzled. He eventually returned with the receipts to sign, but the whole interaction felt very awkward. I almost never leave without tipping, but this time I felt there was no service worthy of it. The food might have been warm enough to be safe to eat, but it definitely wasn’t hot."

"I just ate here and my food took 41 minutes to get there. When I asked they said it was because they had a large order which is understandable and I wasn’t hangry so I understood. However I ended up getting a waitress by the name Nataly and she seemed very dismissive. I raised my hand for 3 minutes she looked at me walked in the next direction ignored me and then I left it alone and asked someone else. When she delivered my food to me she had her finger in my queso which made me not want it anymore. And in my food I found an uncooked raw piece of shrimp my friends tortas were soggy and I’m not the type to write reviews but I was extremely disappointed. Not to mention Burnt vegetables."

"I made a reservation on Open Table that was not honored by Machete Tequila. I requested a standard table in a quiet location. We were seated in the bar with a very loud speaker directly behind us. I went back to the host and asked about my reservation and asked why we were seated at a high table in the bar with a booming speaker behind us. He told me that Open Table was the problem, that Machete Tequila does not accept reservations and that we were seated in the best possible seat availablea standard seat in a more family area would have been another minutes. Upon arrival, I was not informed by the host that my Open Table reservation was not being honored.The host was curt and had a take it or leave it attitude"
