"First timer. Our online order showed 4:15. Got a text at 4:10. Arrived at 4:12. I wish I had wonderful things to say but my family and I all came to the same conclusion about our experience. The Cubana was really soggy. Add a cup of cinnamon to Mylanta, and this was the consistency of the horchata. Chicken tortilla soup had a black curly hair in it.The food overall did not seem fresh. ? For the amount of money paid, we should have had better tasting quality food. I am very disappointed. Much of the food we purchased went to waste!"

"The food was outstanding, but I felt slightly put off by being treated as if I were just a “tourist.” In fact, I believe the opposite should be true—it's essential to warmly welcome visitors, especially since we came from out of town and specifically chose your restaurant among many options. It's vital to show appreciation to those who support your business. Your food is fantastic, so I hope you don’t let a sense of superiority diminish the overall experience. Perhaps that's why the place was rather quiet. Just my two cents."

"I've tried them out twice and it's been good so far. The first time I enjoyed the enchiladas de pollo en mole and I was pleased by the flavor of the rice and beans. The enchiladas were pretty good, though I experienced an anxiety-inducing issue that came from the chicken. A dry and hard string of chicken ended up in the dish and I didn't notice it until I had a hard time swallowing anything else. I spent a few minutes trying to cough it up and let out a huge sigh of relief once successful. I am pretty sure this was an honest mistake on their end, anyway. I'd love them to add a bit more in their alambre dish for takeout since I felt the portion was a bit short for how much it cost."

"The food here is incredibly delicious, and the restaurant is always clean and organized. The new owner is much better than the previous one; he's kind and truly cares about his customers. I highly recommend you come and dine here!"

"We only live in this area for 2 months each year, and we were looking for a great Mexican restaurant. We found El Rey De Oros Restaurant on Google Maps and it quickly became our top choice for Mexican food in Northern Philadelphia. We ordered several quesadillas along with some Pico de Gallo guacamole for a light meal, and it was the freshest and most satisfying we've ever had. Absolutely excellent! We can't wait to come back and try more items from their menu in the future."

"I went with my friend for lunch at end of Sep. 3 tables occupied before us, no people on patio at the time. We had to wait for pretty long to get our food, quite bland, lukewarm. The waiter never smiled, never looked at us...to check whether we need something. The door was kept open and my friend felt quite chill and would like to check whether it could be closed, but we were just ignored. My friend ordered a coffee to keep warm, and she asked for sugar and milk. The coffee came after much wait, with milk but no sugar. My friend kept her arm up for pretty long to get attention, but just ignored. While she went to the washroom, I got some sugar from the waiter and my friend tole the waitress that she would like more coffee with sugar and milk. She said she would tell the waiter. He never came. When I paid the bill, my friend, who always tipped 20% told me that I should not give that much. So I tipped 10%. The waiter said the only thank you for the whole time, 1.5hours. I was so embarrassed for taking my friend to such a place on Queen, in my neighborhood, to support local business and expected a nice friendly experience but I am sorry to say this is my worst experience ever. I don 't think the owner cares at all. This will be my last visit,"

"Tu Y Yo never disappoints. We ordered from the catering menu for a Mother's Day takeout and all was excellent. Very generous portions. When we had a concern regarding dairy in one dish they accommodated us very willingly."

"I love to eat here! It’s 2 people working, not a big place. They are so nice. Good food on the cheap. They give you a little cup of soup while you wait. I’m always happy with the food and portion size. I’ve had the napole quesadilla, tortas, chiliqilles, enchiladas, chocolate flan. All yummy. Not too spicy but the hot sauce is seriously hot. The road construction is finished so it’s easy to get to now. Check if they are open before you go though because they aren’t open every day."

"We often stop by this restaurant for a drink and a quick bite during happy hour. While they don't have a designated happy hour menu, their regular prices are quite reasonable. This week, we visited again and enjoyed Margaritas along with jalapeño poppers and a few tacos. While you wait, they serve warm tortilla chips with salsa to share, which I appreciated. The salsa was tasty and mild. The Margaritas, priced at $8.95, are a great deal considering their size and quality. The jalapeño poppers ($7.99 for six) were good, but the tacos were even better—some of the best I've had. They were not dry, and the meat in both the Asado and Pastor tacos was really flavorful. Parking is easy to find since the restaurant is located in a large plaza, but be prepared for a wait for service; they seem to have only one person working as the bartender, server, and busboy. Nevertheless, we will definitely return when we’re in the area."

"Dining here has generally been a pleasant experience, but my recent visit was disappointing. The carne asada I had consisted mostly of fat, with very little actual meat. Additionally, the customer service left much to be desired. The receptionist should aim to greet customers warmly and humanely, rather than in a robotic manner. A simple, friendly greeting would go a long way. I hope this feedback is helpful for your establishment."

"Try it, you won't be disappointed! Believe me Also, bring cash! They only take cash :) Let me break this down! After trying multiple taco trucks, I have to"
