"If you're in Newark Beth Israel Hospital and looking for a place to eat go down to the first floor to the Green Room. They're open 24/7. My wife was in the hospital for a 6 days in which I slept there every night. There's not many places to eat around the hospital, the Green Room is your best option I had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. They have a wide selection to choose from. For breakfast there was different omelettes, pancakes, French Toast and sandwiches. I had the Crete Omelette my first day which brought me each morning. Lunch, once again there was a lot to choose from, from salads to sandwiches to entrees. I had the BBQ Chicken, it came with a Greek Salad and fries . . . delicious. They had dinner entrees which I didn't try. My nephew had one which he enjoyed but the portion was to much for me. I had a salad, again they have a good selection. After my wife was feeling better she had an omelette every morning. The whole staff was friendly and prompt. Mostly it was very affordable, you get more than what you pay for."
