"My boyfriend and I have been ordering from this restaurant for years now, even though it's not far from us. We finally decided to dine in recently and we both love diners and diner food, so we were pleasantly surprised with how cute this place is. I wish we had come sooner! Each table has an old-school style coin music machine, so we had fun playing a few songs while waiting for our meal. The food here has always been delicious, with a great selection of classic American dishes and more. And we always make sure to save room for dessert, it's a must try!"

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! I ordered some large soups and a grilled Caesar salad with a nice amount of dressing, and it was delicious. Thank you for the timely delivery. The dessert was also great.

Great place. One of the last true diners in Brooklyn. The food is good and plentiful. The service is good, our waiter was very attentive and accommodating. I would hate to see this little gem go to the wayside like so many in Brooklyn. View menu

Nice diner. They keep it clean and the service is very nice, patient and prompt. The food is delicious, not the best, but tasty enough. There is a parking lot with limited parking. It can be overfilled, but usually not too bad. The D train is not too far away. A ramp is disabled on the back door. Lunch is particularly good and reasonable.

You get honestly what you paid for when you come here. Food isn't the best, but it's not the worst. I personally didn't like her steak and eggs. The court lacked in taste, but for it with the Challah French toast. Don't see me coming back here in the foreseeable future. There is nothing to be overcome, but this is a decent place for locals and people. View menu

I love this diner! Been living in the Kingshighway area for 30 years now and go there regularly. The food is fresh and delicious, staff and atmosphere is so friendly and positive. You have to try their French onion soup it's the best! Huge Thanks to the waiter Jose who served us last time. He was super friendly, fast and polite! Definitely will be coming back there soon!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
