"I was instructed to reserve an entire room in order to make a reservation for 8 guests at this restaurant. While I found this requirement to be unreasonable, I agreed in order to have dinner for my bachelorette party there. We paid a deposit for the room, but a few weeks later, we were informed that we would also have to pay for a buffet for the party of 8 and could not order from the regular menu. They explained that it was their busy season and they could not accommodate our group otherwise. We declined this arrangement and requested a refund of our deposit. We were offered a gift card for the deposit amount instead of a refund, which we found to be unacceptable. This experience left a negative impression on me, and as a lifelong resident of Shelby, I will not be returning to this establishment."
