"Once they pass these silencer shops and strip connections, they give a colorful street corner with Vietnamese and Thai shops. the restauranis easy to find with a light yellow light sign. the personal is friendly and the usual Chinese fast and efficient service. the vegetarian menu still uses chicken or oyster sauce, so be sure to say to its server, they are vegan and want water as basic. even if they are deep fry aware that they use the same oil that they deep-fried the huh. we have the steamed vegetables in Mongolian sauce with tofu. it was pretty good but not great. Nevertheless, the decoration was authenc thai, with wood carvings and piques, and we had a good non-Vegasy time with very reasonable price over. a third of the costs of th. eve in bellagio caffe"

"Upon arrival, our waitress was friendly and quick to take our orders. We both opted for the Chicken Pad Thai in the lunch portion. Much to our surprise, the food arrived at our table just four minutes later. For anyone familiar with authentic Thai or Japanese cuisine, you know that freshly prepared dishes typically require more time to make. Our first impression was that the portion size was quite generous for a lunch offering. However, there was an unusual aroma coming from the dish. I wouldn’t go so far as to say it smelled spoiled, but it was a scent that didn't match what we expected from this type of food. When we tasted the Pad Thai, we were taken aback by its flavor, which was overwhelmingly reminiscent of noodles mixed with ketchup, fish sauce, and sugar. When the server checked on us, I inquired whether the dish was prepared traditionally. She assured me that they only use authentic ingredients and claimed that this is how the dish would taste if we were in Thailand. This was surprising information to me, as our experiences with Thai and Japanese food in various U.S. cities have led us to believe the traditional dishes generally have a consistent taste. However, she didn’t offer us an alternative dish. After this conversation, we started to worry about the two specialty rolls we had ordered: the Beverly Hills Roll and the Hot Mama. Although the rolls were beautifully presented, they were unfortunately not fresh and appeared to be pre-made. The cream cheese in the Beverly Hills roll was nearly impossible to chew, and the "white fish" in the Hot Mama did not resemble any white fish I have ever tasted. The server noticed that we had hardly touched our food and asked why. I honestly shared our disappointment, to which she replied, “I’m sorry you don’t like our food, but your tastes seem more suited for those American places.” I found that amusing. We’ve enjoyed meals at both upscale establishments and small, family-run restaurants with Thai and Japanese staff, consistently receiving excellent food. I won’t be returning to Amazing Thai. Save your hard-earned money and consider dining at Kikos on University Drive just north of 595 or Japan Inn on University Drive just south of Sunrise Blvd instead; both are significantly better options."

"I was really disappointed with my experience here. I ordered take-out last night and found the gyozas and spring rolls to be quite mediocre—definitely lacking flavor. The Thai pad noodles were a huge letdown; the angel hair pasta was overcooked and dry, with barely enough sauce, and I had to search hard for three tiny slices of chicken. Overall, it felt way overpriced for what we received at $40. This certainly wasn’t what I expected, and it will be my first and last visit."

"On Sunday evening, after hearing rave reviews about the sushi, we decided to give it a try. We arrived at 6:35 PM and were greeted right away and promptly seated. We ordered three sushi rolls, which arrived at our table in no time. Throughout our visit, our glasses were never empty, and there was never a dirty dish left on the table. I'm happy to say I've found my new favorite sushi spot. Great job!"

"This is our family’s favorite Thai food restaurant. The food is always good. A lot of their business is take-out, so it’s never hard to get a table. The atmosphere is super chill with not-too-loud ambient music. They have happy hour daily, and once or twice a week they have a live music set in the evening. Their lunch specials are a great value. Servers are always super polite. And since it’s upstairs with lots of windows, you have a great view of the neighborhood. It’s really a gem.Vegetarian options: Almost any dish can come without meat so it’s super easy to have vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: We always bring our kiddo and the restaurant is really chill so it’s not hard to have a kid there.Parking: The lot in front is pretty tight usually but the lot in back is always available. We’ve never had trouble with parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator to reach the second floor."

"I am giving this restaurant three stars because the food was good, but we had to wait much longer than expected. We were told our order would be ready in 15-20 minutes, but we ended up waiting for 50 minutes. Despite there only being 4 or 5 tables occupied, we could have sat down and eaten faster than that. It would have been nice if they offered us a starter or reduced the price on our bill due to the long wait, but we only received a "sorry". There were also some mistakes in our order. This was our first visit and we will give them another chance to see if these issues are resolved. I appreciate good quality food and hope they can improve."

"Not sure what the previous customers are speaking of but I’ve eaten at numerous 5 star Thai restaurants and I have to say this small out of the way restaurant has completely surpassed 90% of supposed fine dining restaurants with half the cost. The drunken noodles were absolutely amazing and the service was warm and attentive. 5 stars is not enough for this hidden gem !"

"A friend and I ordered to go we ordered several items, 2 entrees and 3 appetizers. We were completely dissatisfied and disappointed with the food. When I called Thai garden they treated me as if I did not know what golden tofo is I explained I did, that I have several post with golden tofu from other local restaurants as well that I'm a chef, with true culinary art training. The woman argued about the tofu, Stating it supposed to be white (not golden tofu, golden tofu is fried and comes to rich golden color making a crisp outside to the the tender white tofu, aka bean curd). After I stated what golden tofu was I also explained it's not acceptable to have food laying in a 1inch of oil. The woman then asked me about the rest of the food. My friend ate 4 bites of her Chicken fried rice and got sick, I ate 2 bites of rice and got sick. I returned the food, and the lady gave me back $4.00 for the Golden tofu. Next time I won't return it I will just take food to health department and show them. I support local You would to think in a COVID time service would be better and food should most definitely be. Very disappointing that was both of our first time eating there. Never will again."

"Location atmosphere were good. Definitely need to hire some help with service as it was pretty packed for a Monday lunch.Sadly, the food was lacking. Ordered the Kinnara sampler ... the crispy shrimp was exceptional, but the chicken satay was more like a kabob, the shumai dumplings were dense the spring rolls had too much wrapper compared to filling. Collectively, it was more of a small entree than a light fair appetizer. For an entree, I had the Street Pad Thai with chicken. A little heavy on the oil, but the flavor was good. I 'd go easy on the spice level next time as medium was basically hot for me. My friend had the Tom Yum soup loved it! She also had the Red Curry with chicken, but definitely needed more spice."

"We got takeout and tried the chicken noodle soup, the pad see uw, the ginger rice, steamed veggies and grilled bananas. The veggies looked a little dirty/unclean but the pad see uw was good. The way they packaged the soup and noodles was not good the noodles were so stuck together the first twenty bites were just noodles and no soup. The grilled bananas were awful we took two bites and threw the rest away. No flavor and tasted not fully cooked. We won’t go back. There’s better Thai food for the price elsewhere."

"I picked up two lunch specials on my way from Springfield to DC earlier today and thoroughly enjoyed my meal from 9 Pad Thai. I ordered the regular Pad Thai with chicken (and, apparently, pork) as well as the Panang Curry with chicken and rice. Both came with spring rolls and had enough in the portion to leave leftovers of each plate. I ordered online which was an easy process and the order was ready for pickup within 15 minutes. The Pad Thai was among the best Pad Thai's I've had in the DMV/DC area; the sauce was tangy and sweet, the onions were perfectly cooked, and there were enough onions/veggies to provide an excellent contrast to the egg, pork, and chicken. I didn't know that the dish would include barbecue pork so if you don't eat pork, make sure to specify that this should be omitted. This dish was easily a 5/5 and a definite highlight of the meal. The Panang Curry was not as good as the Pad Thai and I'd rate it a 4/5. If I had ordered more than the mild spice level, I think the dish would have had a better overall flavor profile. My main criticism was just that the flavor wasn't very strong. Also, there were two bell peppers for garnish when I believe there should have been more than that. Everything was cooked well though and there was quite a lot of chicken. I definitely plan to order from here again next time I'm in the area!"

"First-timers and LOVED it. We are sushi snobs (in a good way) and rate this top-notch. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared. We even ordered a custom roll and they nailed it! Our server was fast and very friendly. Loved the background jazz music too—cool decor with lots of TVs and a nice bar. We will totally be back!"

"(3.5 stars) The sushi here is truly exceptional, some of the freshest I’ve ever had in South Florida. While it is quite pricey—about double what you would typically pay at a neighborhood spot—the quality is unmatched and definitely worth the splurge. However, the Thai dishes and appetizers were a letdown. They were average at best, not even comparable to the local Thai places. It was quite disappointing; the gyoza tasted stale, and while there were plenty of rock shrimp, the sauce was completely lacking in flavor. The hamachi jalapeno appetizer featured great fish, but that was about it. The massaman curry was just plain boring. On a positive note, the decor is sleek and the music is cool yet unobtrusive, providing a nice break from those trendy places blasting EDM!"

"SO SPICEY, the food was barely edible. I have a pretty high tolerance to heat (I usually order things on the medium-hot/hot level) and I crave spicey food but this was a *painful* spice. I almost thought maybe they accidentally added extra spice to mine because there's no way this would be edible for the majority of diners. I really wanted to like this spot as I had heard good things about it and the reviews were mostly positive. I gave it a try on UberEats and ordered a chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo with garlic naan. The naan was GREAT, probably the best I've had amongst the Indian food I've tried since moving to Chicago. It should be noted that the meat entrees came with their own sides of rice (I wish it had specified this on the meal delivery apps because there are a lot of spots that make you order basmati rice a la carte which I ended up doing because I was unsure). I ate about 1/4 of each of the meat dishes because I honestly could not stomach more it was SO spicey. I could taste a little flavor and what I could taste was good but honestly it was mostly just painful spice. As someone who LOVES spicey food, this just wasn't enjoyable. Because I have heard good things about this spot, I would love to try it again. Perhaps I will write a note specifically in the order on the meal delivery service about lessening the spice level if possible or trying a new dish. Bummed about this spot for sure!"
