"Been ordering once a week since COVID hit. Food is always hot, fresh, and good but lately the service just hasn 't been good. 3 times in a row while ordering on Silce or Doordash it says our order has been delivered but is not here. Then we call and theytell us they have our order or it 's in the oven. The time estimates are completely innaccurate because of this. I hope Fabio 'sisn 't doing this on purpose as a strategy to manipulate the wait times on the delivery apps. Not only does it confuse and worryus that our order was dropped off in the wrong location, I 'm sure Fabio 's gets tons of calls from people wondering the samething making the service even slower. I understand pizza places can get busy but waiting 2 hours or more for pizza week afterweek is getting frustrating."

"This is undoubtedly the best crazy salad you'll ever try! I've traveled extensively and sampled salads across four continents, but none can compare to this one. If you want extra avocado, it's just a dollar or two extra—totally worth it! The pizza slices are delicious, and the tacos are fantastic as well. Knock on wood, but this is genuinely the only place I trust near Dover; I don’t even check my bag before leaving because they always get my order right. There are never any missing utensils or sauces; everything is always perfect. This is truly my favorite place anywhere! I've never had any issues after eating here, and the staff is always courteous. Please don’t ever leave Dover—better yet, take me with you! This is hands down the best salad you'll ever have! Everyone is super friendly, and they hardly ever make mistakes. I don't even check my bag before I leave, which is quite a statement in Delaware! The salads are amazing, the tacos are fantastic, and the pizza is great too! Don’t miss out on this gem. I've never been sick after a meal here; highly recommended!"

"Unfortunately, this restaurant deserves 1 star. We love the food, but the management is horrible. EVERY time we have ordered, there has been an issue. The first time, we went to pick it up for a party and were told they accidentally gave it away to someone else. We had to wait around 15 minutes and were given a free garlic knot coupon as compensation. We weren't too upset that time because they were nice. However, the next time we ordered the same thing happened. We went, and our order was nowhere to be found. The next time we ordered, they got our order wrong. We ordered garlic knots and got a meat pizza slice instead. The last time we ordered, we ordered an hour and a half ahead for a party of 20 people. We ordered 4 pizzas. When they got there, we were told they accidentally burned one pizza. We asked for the other 3 in the mean time since we had 20 people waiting. They told us no, which lead us to believe that the pizza was not burned but instead was either never made or given out to the wrong person again. We were then told that they would make it and deliver it for free, since we are literally walking distance away. Somehow this took 45 minutes. I was on the phone with the manager and all they could offer me was we don't know what happened and we'll take good care of you next time A mistake once is one thing, but every time is just careless. We definitely will not be ordering from here again."

"Beware the owner posted a response claiming they would make it right. See below! Then when going back and giving them the opportunity to make it right the owner claims that's not him, it's some third party company he hired that post response on his behalf and he's not honoring it. Very poor decision and business practice. So now that charge will go in dispute! Tried to be nice and reasonable but owner did absolutely NOTHING! Very Very, very disappointed with the pizza yesterday July 5th for multiple reasons, especially after going out of my way to go there. The pizza was a soupy, sloppy, saucy mess. Ended up with sauce on my clothes as it was so sloppy. The pizza was unprofessionally cut as if a child did it, some little, tiny pieces some huge, more than double the size of the tiny pieces. The sauce tasted totally different (off from prior pizzas and repeated on me all night, from just 1 piece. (It was complete opposite of the prior pizza which just may have been best pizza I ever had in my life. As I praised it all week and why I went out of my way to get the pizza last night! We have gotten pizzas here for years both under the current management and prior management. In fact been ordering the same thing weekly. So my guess is gotta know who's working now to know if I'm gonna get a pizza. Can't afford to pay for pizzas nobody wanted to eat, between the mess, taste and sizing. If I had time to return it last night I would have. But certainly didn't have time to drive back (another 30 minute round trip and wait another 1/2 hr on top for remake when had somewhere to be. Especially after having to change clothes, from the sauce on the clothes dilemma. So ended up microwaving some other food instead, so could get to our destination. Didn't want to put the charge in dispute, as I understand everybody has a bad day or makes a mistake but I also understand places need to make it right. So, if you are willing to make good on it I would certainly be more than willing to update/upgrade the review. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter."

"This is my first time visiting this place. Food was just OK, pizza was good. However service was horrible. Nobody asked us how is the food, if we need more drinks. "I approached the counter to explain my situation, and they instructed me to call the number displayed on the ATM. When I called, the phone rang, someone answered, but then they hung up on me. I then dealt with a very rude employee who I explained my predicament to, emphasizing that this was my only money for the day and asking if they could simply refund the amount taken by the ATM. After waiting through my entire lunch break and nearly half an hour, he finally managed to reach someone on the phone. Unfortunately, they told him not to give me any money and advised me to contact the ATM owner for reimbursement instead. I had hoped for better customer service, expecting them to refund the money that was wrongfully taken from me, but that was not the case. Their customer service is severely lacking, and as someone who has done business with them, I believe customers deserve to be treated better. I will not be returning to this restaurant again, even though it is convenient for me."

"I used to come here regularly and get chicken pizza cheesesteaks. They were my go to since 2020, but lately I feel like the quality has gone down. Less cheese and much less marinara sauce, but yet somehow very liquidy so that the roll gets super soggy and I kid you not, tomato juice squirts out when you take a bite lol. And the chicken just doesn’t taste the same. I used to come here almost weekly for my sandwich because I looked forward to it and it was just so good, everything was right, the sauce, the cheese, the roll being toasted, etc. But For the past several months I just have not felt nearly the same enthusiasm for the food that I felt a year or so ago. The price increase does not help either. I understand inflation is bad and businesses have to keep up with the prices of chicken and other ingredients, but when the quality decreases and the price goes up, I just really don’t have much of a desire to get food from here anymore. Not that I am totally giving up on G&G’s, I would like to maybe come back and hope for an improvement, go back to the way chicken pizza steaks were made in 2021. I don’t know if maybe there is a change in management or the recipe is different or something. I really enjoy coming in there, the employees are always super friendly, no complaints there, it’s just the quality of food has gone down in my opinion. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20"

"Different Cheesesteak #922. Special Guest Eater Adam Bucci. We took our cheesesteak to Neshaminy Creek Brewing. Neshaminy Creek Brewing is one of my new favoritist places in the world. The cheesesteak was a pretty standard pizza shop cheesesteak. It did have a very good price to size ratio. Eating at Neshaminy Creek Brewing was a big plus. I loved my Cherry Hibiscus draft."

"I used to be here when my husband and I were together. 4 years ago the last time was through movement, but we tried 2 of our old favorites, tuna melt and Sicily. I'm never so disgusting and disappointed with my life. This place was not just a pizza place, but a memory. The tuna was old and disgusting. Lou knows the flavors, not wrong. He just doesn't pay attention to the inventory or doesn't care anymore. Sicily is the worst, I almost cried. I wanted to find out how it went wrong. The toppings of extra cheese and pepperoni were simple, but Lou knows how to season, I tried it separately and it was good. The middle of Sicily was nicely fluffy and a good seasoned dough. The upper layer between the temples and the middle of the pane was good, but when I tried a piece from the bottom of the cake, I found out where it went wrong. They didn't clean the oven. Imagine a grill or a grating full of old foods and you just scratch the pieces and instead of cleaning it, keep cooking on it. This pizza tasted as if it was cooked in a few months if not, years of it. I am very sad to say that it is the last time to order from here. I had to throw everything out. Lou is amazing, but the fact that he has stopped nurturing and it reflects on the food intestines me. I wish you the best, please let me know if you change the quality control and the condition of the place."
