"Bought nachos from their Smorgasburg stand. Grumpy staff. Was our second time, I don’t actually like them, but my kids do. We had a spill, my son asked for some napkins and they gave him two. My daughter went and asked for a couple more, they refused. I thought my daughter must be lying, so I went and asked myself, sure enough they said “we gave you a bunch”. I promise, reader, they gave us exactly two napkins, plus some aluminum foil and a bag for leftovers. My kid had no problem getting a few more napkins from the vendor next door to them but these people are awful, please don’t give them your business."

"La Patrona is everything. I love this little hidden gem. I've been coming to this place since it was a small hole in the wall on Tinton avenue in the Bronx. I used to live a few streets away from this establishment and always always always stopped for the best chicken tacos and birra tacos OMG TO DIE FORRRRR!!!!! From their soups to their freshly made drinks every single thing that is made here is superb. The horchata is so FRESH and delicious. The Limeade (limonada) is sooooooooo freaking ridiculously good. Sour but sweet but also refreshing. 100/100 haha!! I totally recommend this place. If you ever find yourself in the neighborhood for whatever reason... do NOT hesitate to stop here. Yes, for those not familiar with the Spanish language they do speak properly and fluent English. The woman that is usually at the front taking orders is an absolute doll. She's bilingual sweetest person ever. She helps with recommendations, anything you need she's awesome. Not sure of her name but she's been there for years. "Small family owned taqueria with really generous portions of traditional Mexican comfort classics. I had the tacos al pastor on authentic soft corn tortillas and they were excellent. Our table started with a platter of enchiladas, some chorizo and some chicken, and they were also really good. There are only four tables for dining in, but it looks like many people get their food for delivery anyway."

"I stumbled upon this gem on Cinco de Mayo, and it was an incredible discovery. The drinks were fantastic—I ordered a strawberry margarita while my daughter opted for a classic margarita. Both were generously sized and gave us a nice buzz. Although the restaurant wasn’t busy when we arrived, it certainly filled up by the time we left. The food was delicious, too. I had tacos and shrimp with rice and beans, and there was enough for lunch the following day. It’s a great new spot for drinks and authentic Mexican cuisine. I noticed only two waitresses on duty, one of whom was also bartending, but they managed to handle the crowd very well."

"Went here for dinner to try a new restaurant. First off when ordering I ordered flautas and the waiter said it was going to be 8 dollars per flauta. So I said I was confused and the waiter came back and said he got confused with something else. When my boyfriend ordered his food he was told his order came with rice and I ordered a side order of rice and we only got one rice and got charged for two. Then we were told his order didn't come with rice. But this isn't the worst part. We ordered guacamole and we found a bug in our chips. When I told the waitress she took the chips away but did not apologize at all. When I asked at the end of our meal if we could get the guacamole charge taken off since we found a bug they said they would take two dollars off. TWO dollars for a bug being found. This place is a joke."

Most recently, he ordered a dish for our little one, and it had a terrible smell—so bad that she couldn't eat it, even after he tried to cook it further. It seems unfair to have such issues, especially since he often takes the food he buys to work. He could easily voice his complaints but continues to return because he values the owner and appreciates their efforts. "I’ve been visiting this location for years I love they breakfast and salsa. I visited today and was highly disappointed with the service. I ordered two different orders because I was getting someone else food now it only comes with one barely filled cup of salsa and a bag of chips to share if two people is making a order why must we share salsa and chips we aren’t sharing money nor food so shouldn't we get what we paid for unless we pay extra for another bag of chips and salsa although We just spent money on 2 different transactions that’s so disappointing how money is becoming the root of all evil.. "I searched for surf and turf. Came across a place I used to visit as a kid in the 90s. I am not sure why I never went back as an adult. The pictures do not do the reviews justice. Shrimp is so good. Flavors are spicy for my weak pallette but worth the burn. Sooo good. Here is a pic. I get without Pico. No onions for me. Oh and girl in drive thru was beyond nice. "This was a second visit, and they did respond well from my first.The food is decent. I tried the Carnitas burrito, which was made fresh, and had good, if very mild flavor. The size was definitely on the small side, but if you 're looking for a light meal, this would work well. The salsas are good, at least the medium and hot ones which I tried!Still 'nickel and dime ' treatment of customers. Burrito is $9.95, per the menu board, but I was charged $10.35. ALSO, there is a small sign at pickup which says you get a significant discount (3.89%! if you pay with cash. Why this is placed at the END of the counter, where you pick up your food and have already paid, I don 't know. Not customer service oriented, and somewhat petty.Overall, very small for a $10.35 burrito, though still fresh and well made. I 'll probably not be coming back since there is a MUCH better more authentic burrito place a block away, with far more flavor size customer service for your buck! If you want Tex-Mex options, there is also another place just a few blocks the other way with a similar burrito for less money."

"solid mex restaurant. prices are super fair to start. get a tonn chips when they order them, a lot for 2 or even 3 people. the steak burrito was very high quality and meat had great taste. I'd say it's medium. the avocado and the cheese had very good taste and ripe. might have used some more cilantro/lime/onion? the rice was good albielt a little dry but good taste, average maybe. chips were very crispy and no salt. but they contain salt packages. by far is the only conus I can think of, the salsas. Both were about the same sharp. the green tasted close to what you would expect, but made with tasteless jalapenos. the red tastes as if it was legitimate missing ingredients. no smokey taste, no chili flavor, I just have no idea what the red is trying to do. can not wait to try the tacos next and focus more on the meat. I'll be back soon."

"Enjoy it... stop on every occasion every 2 weeks. Try her steak a la Mexicana and her cheese quesadillas. Great food! Need music with big speakers without drowning the conversation of customers. Real music also... los 3 Ases, Los Tecolines, Los Panchos, Javier Solis, Los Dandy's, Mana, Jarabe de Palo, Vicente Fernandez, pedro Infante. Maybe add a TV to all four walls with sports channel that shows Plsyoffs and or championship games to football, (FIFA World Cups) basketball, baseball, hockey, football, horse racing, maybe some boxes. No UFC or MMA due to families and children (the violence in this world to show them more). Beer would be great, but let's keep the place under control."

"Once in a while I order food from here. Let’s just say their food is splendid and delicious. As a Hispanic person their burritos Al pastor are very good, and especially the gorditas. I usually get burritos or gorditas but I know that their rest of their food and beverages are yummy. I recommend and make sure to get salsa and the jalapeno carrot bag because it adds a lot of flavor."
