"I stumbled upon this gem on Cinco de Mayo, and it was an incredible discovery. The drinks were fantastic—I ordered a strawberry margarita while my daughter opted for a classic margarita. Both were generously sized and gave us a nice buzz. Although the restaurant wasn’t busy when we arrived, it certainly filled up by the time we left. The food was delicious, too. I had tacos and shrimp with rice and beans, and there was enough for lunch the following day. It’s a great new spot for drinks and authentic Mexican cuisine. I noticed only two waitresses on duty, one of whom was also bartending, but they managed to handle the crowd very well."

Best Mexican food in Miami. Visited from North Carolina; the food was excellent! Even repeated a second day. Great customer service! 100% Recommend.

Food was delicious and not expensive. I was disappointed the chips didn't come with salsa but with bean dip instead, which was good. Would visit here again

I've tried menudo in many states across the country, but I never expected that a cozy little Mexican family restaurant in South Miami would serve the best menudo I’ve ever had. It’s truly exceptional! The beans are fantastic as well, and everything is fresh and authentic. It’s a nice, inviting place with friendly staff. Given the limited Mexican influence in Miami, the food here is both authentic and delicious. Highly recommend! View menu

The food was quite good, and the staff were very friendly. I ordered a combo plate that included a tostada (which was delicious), a tamale (average), and a flauta (average). The beans and rice were a bit bland; the rice didn't have much flavor. I also tried the chicken fajitas, which I enjoyed. I appreciated that they used real chicken rather than a pre-shredded mix like many chain restaurants. The chicken was tender and juicy, though there were some fatty and chewy bits.
