"Typically I’m not so harsh with ratings, this place however was Horrible. The moment my sister and I walked in, the music went off (coincidence). We were not greeted not even with a smile, so I said hello to the waitress and she placed the menus down and said nothing with NO EYE contact. That was my Que to leave but we didn’t. We received Nachos with dip as appetizers with a straw wrapper/ trashed and found at the bottom of the appetizers. I informed the waitress and she apologized and brought a new one out for us. We get our orders taken and brought at this time and not once checked on, the people were not welcoming at all unless you appeared to be the same ethnic background. Look if you want to try this place, give it a chance but my experience was a disaster. The food was not that good either, I really mean that. I was hoping to say 1 good thing but there’s nothing positive about this place, my sister even agreed and she’s usually very Positive about everything!"

"The Mexican food here is pretty good and reasonably priced. However, I wouldn't recommend ordering the steak and eggs. I tried to eat it multiple times, but it was so tough that I had to spit out every bite. Fortunately, the other dishes are tasty!"

"solid mex restaurant. prices are super fair to start. get a tonn chips when they order them, a lot for 2 or even 3 people. the steak burrito was very high quality and meat had great taste. I'd say it's medium. the avocado and the cheese had very good taste and ripe. might have used some more cilantro/lime/onion? the rice was good albielt a little dry but good taste, average maybe. chips were very crispy and no salt. but they contain salt packages. by far is the only conus I can think of, the salsas. Both were about the same sharp. the green tasted close to what you would expect, but made with tasteless jalapenos. the red tastes as if it was legitimate missing ingredients. no smokey taste, no chili flavor, I just have no idea what the red is trying to do. can not wait to try the tacos next and focus more on the meat. I'll be back soon."

"This is the second time I've been to, and second time I've been disappointed by this place. To their credit, I did make the mistake of asking for them to add potatoes to my chorizo burrito. I figure any chorizo egg breakfast burrito should have some potatoes in it. Unfortunately, they appeared to have taken this as a way to put as little chorizo and eggs in my burrito as possible. Essentially, I paid $16 for a potato wrapped in a tortilla. I wouldn't have minded paying $16 if it was enjoyable, but it was not. I will not Make the mistake of going there a third time. The only reason I didn't give a one, is because the food was made to order and the service was fine. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2"

"Wow! This was the best food I've had in the Bronx. The garlic knots were absolutely delicious, and the 12-inch mini pizza topped with bacon and pepperoni was out of this world! I can't recommend it enough—definitely a 5-star experience!"

"I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now, and I regret not doing it sooner! The food was amazing. I ordered a steak burrito, steak tacos for the kids, queso and chips, and three pork tamales. I usually don't go for burritos, but this one was one of the best I've ever had. The kids loved their street style tacos. The queso was great, even though I prefer a thicker consistency. The chips were fresh and tasty. The pork tamales were the best I've had in years. We will definitely be returning, especially since my mom lives close by. The prices were reasonable and the ordering process was similar to Chipotle/Qdoba but with an authentic touch. I hope they open more locations, they would do well on the Northside of Indy."

"The tacos were listed online for $1.49 each, so I ordered ten, expecting my total to be around $16.43 with tax. However, the bill came to $30.13, which felt like an absolute rip-off. It seemed like they took advantage of the fact that I’m white and don't speak Spanish. When I pointed out the price discrepancy, the staff member didn't seem to care at all. I will never return to this place, and I plan to dispute the charge with my bank, as this feels like clear false advertising. It's really disappointing."

"This is my new spot!!Stopped in for dinner on a Friday night. Seemed like they had a few to-go orders ready and customers were paying when we came in. Other than that, no line! Service was great, very quick and healthy portions of servings for our burritos. You order at the counter, watch them make your items as you dictate, then our burritos were taken back to the grill to be sealed. I *thought* they had chipotle salsa on the line, when I asked the staff said you want some? and made it on the spot in the back kitchen. Gracias Tio!! Great food, fast service, good prices, bomb horchata. Wasn 't grainy, wasn 't thin, had great flavor...we WILL be back!"

"Genuine Mexican. Seriously, I was skeptical at first trying a street vendor serving seafood, but Felipe's fare at El Paisa is truly excellent. My son is also a huge fan and has tried all of the meats. Particular favorites are the chorizo, lengua and chicken. I regularly get the tilapia burrito. The salsa selection is also on par. I've been a regular customer for over a year and can attest to the consistent high quality and taste. Plan on sitting in your car or standing, but get ready for food that competes brilliantly with Lone Star."
