"Found this place on complete accident while picking up COVID-19 tests nearby for our church ministry for homeless. Wanted to get lunch nearby and saw highly-reviewed restaurant. It was literally right across the parking lot essentially. This is whatyou call a hidden gem. You would not think at first glance how great this place will be since its in a warehouse industrialsection of town. Once you are inside, you are just taken by amazement how decorated and inviting the place is. Best of all thefood is amazing. There are a handful of foods I am selective with. You have to be really good if I am to say great cheesesteakoutside of Philly. This is perhaps the best I have had outside of Philly. If you are in the area, or willing to make the tripgive them a try. Will be back for sure."

"We are in town for a school water polo tournament and between games we stopped in for something quick and the reviews were good. We had no idea what we were in for. Bread was brought to the table that was excellent. Luckily they only brought two pieces because I'm positive I could eat my weight in that bread. We were then asked if we wanted to try the best dressing ever. I can't speak to the claim but I was tempted to drink it out of the bowl. We ended up buying a cup of it. By the end of the lunch I felt like we were going to be invited to family gatherings. Everthing about our experience was top notch."

"Picked this location based on the google reviews and I would tell you I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a 20-30 minutes wait around 6PM but it worth the wait. Margaritas are awesome at this location, they put decent amount of quality tequila in it and two of them will get you buzzed. Food was very delicious and authentic and it came out pretty quick. Service was excellent, It’s not like other restaurants that the servers come to your table every 3 minutes and interrupt you which I get it’s to make sure everything is alright but I find it annoying). At some point it got very loud for some reason I guess people were tipsy and didn’t realize how loud they’re speaking lol) but overall had a great experience and I would recommend this location to everyone who is looking for a good Mexican restaurant."

"My wife, after going there for a company event, took me for my first time. Edgar was the same waiter/ bartender that had served her the first time. He is amazing! Super friendly, very knowledgeable, suggesting food that was amazing and serving drinks that were equally as amazing! The place was medium as far as busyness, we went right before dinner rush about 4:30pm. Easy parking, fast service, decent prices. Out of the Hispanic restaurants we have been to around Smithfield THIS one is in the top three! I strongly recommend El Barzon to locals and travelers seeking authentic Hispanic food. "I tried so hard to like any part of my meal. I just couldn’t no matter how hard I tried. This food is the worst food I have ever had. The school lunches taste better than this. I spent $70 to get nothing edible. It tastes like nothing and the only thing you can taste is whatever oil they use. It’s very very bland. Not worth even the time trying to place this meal."

"Tony's has been our go to for years now. The first time blew us away and every time since it has always been the best Italian we've ever had (in a city of Italian restaurants too). The shrimp are huge, the entrees are made table side (the pasta seafood is amazing as well as the swordfish). Don't skip dessert! They have the best cheesecake I've ever had. It's whipped. Also you can tour the kitchen! It's the cleanest kitchen I've ever seen. My hubby works in the industry and he says it's definitely the cleanest he has seen in 20 years. Everything looks brand new. Finally, I love how they change out your water for a fresh one at the end. It's a nice touch and I have never seen that elsewhere. Definitely the best restaurant in St Louis. Every anniversary is spent here and we think it's actually decently priced considering the quality. I've seen places that cost just a little less and were miles behind in terms of quality and flavor. Always gives us the best memories. Highly recommended."

"Reminds me of how pizza was made growing up in the 70 's before the 'fast food ' pizza being served up today. The dough is thin and the crust has that hint of sourdough going on. Nice oregano in the sauce and the balance of sauce and cheese is right on! Thankful we found this place!!"
