"When you want an especially fantastic meal, Salt Block is the place! Friday and Saturday, reservations are a MUST! Make sure you have time and money (this is top quality cuisine, with surprisingly ample servings, no ritzy tiny portions here! Savor each course, because on a Saturday night, large parties back up the kitchen, but every bite is worth the wait. Great wines (Riesling Bordeaux , incredible entrees (we had ribeyes and Veal Piccata and yummy desserts (Salted Caramel Cheesecake was phenomenal; Lemon Cake delightful, and Crème Brûlée delicious. Brittany was delightful and attentive. We got our “time zones” confused and they were kind enough to seat us an hour early! Salt Block is our new “go to” special meal restaurant. The ambiance resembles that of a cozy mom-and-pop diner, but the kitchen delivers the quality of a high-end steakhouse at its best. The ever-changing menu ensures there’s always something new to try, while the exceptional quality keeps you coming back for more. The hosts are friendly and accommodating, the waitstaff is attentive and well-informed, and the chef's creations are worth the journey. It's advisable to make reservations and arrive a few minutes early to secure parking. Thankfully, most of the nearby shops close when the restaurant opens.

My husband and I enjoyed the filet, while my mom opted for the NY strip, and all the steaks were cooked to perfection. The vegetables and salad were fresh and locally sourced. The atmosphere was delightful, with background music at a level that allowed us to converse easily. There was a wonderful buzz of laughter and chatter, and the casual dress code made the fine dining experience feel comfortable.
